One thing I love about this show is how complex the writers make every character. No one is a throw away and even if you don't agree with them, you can understand their motivations. The writing for the female characters and the antagonists in particular are some of the best in any franchise - so many diverse personalities, motivations, and perspectives, none of them cliche.

I’m really grateful you’ve decided to put season 2 on KZbin. Really enjoying this journey with you. The Patreon isn’t in my family budget at the moment, but I always do what I can to try to boost KZbin. Always commenting and liking. I love this season. Season 2 is where Iroh sews the seeds of change in Zuko. We don’t see them flower for a long time, but eventually we see Iroh’s reasons for coming with Zuko in the first place years ago. And I feel like Zuko’s constant stumbling makes him seem more real, rather than someone who is constantly moving forward… because that’s not how people are in real life.

call me crazy but for some reason i like book 2 the least 😅 I love them all but book 1 just has this feel of truly building those connections with the characters. Book 3 is my favorite tho
