Thank you Sophie for understanding Tigeress' and Tai Lung's points of view for being angry, a lot of reactors dont understand their characters. Being brought up to believe this one thing then having it being taken away from you is confusing and irritating, thats why i love their characters.

Also, Tigress and Tai Lung are opposites. Where as Tigress didn't succumb to her anger and unleash it on innocent people, Tai Lung did.

The country of China actually got a bit jealous that American animators made a better movie about China than they did. The funny thing is that the animators simply did their homework. They had spent years studying the culture, art, and architecture. They even studied China’s own Kung Fu movies to ensure accuracy.

Tai Lung was not sent to prison for being angry. He was sent to prison because he destroyed the village. He turned his anger and aggression to innocent people. That is the part what made him a villain. And he seriously injured Shifu (you can hear the bone crack and was still limping, when he trained little Tigress) and I am pretty sure he would have killed Shifu if Oogway didn't stop him. Tai Lung had the right of being angry and disappointed but there is no justification for that level of aggression. Would his dark side take over, if he was raised differently? We don't know. But Oogway was right in denying him the dragon scroll.

Tai Lung is a snow leopard! They are one of the most agile big cats out there and they have these super long and pretty tails that help them balance on the mountain cliffs that they hunt on. They also are one of the hardest cats to spot, as leopard's normally are. They have some of the best camouflage. Super cool animal, I love them.

Po keeping his passion is what makes him the Dragon Warrior. The others may have had pasison for it when they started (and are rediscovering their passion thanks to Po), but at the start of the movie, Kung Fu is to everybody a duty, privilege, destiny, birthright, whatever, but not a passion. Po keeps his genuine love and passion for Kung Fu. Even after several Big bad Villains, he keeps geeking about everything Kung Fu, the history, the Big Masters, the lore and mythology...He never stops fan-boying, it never becomes a mere duty or privilege.

So Star Wars has allot of east asian phillosiphy like for example Taoism which George Lucas used/inspired allot in Star Wars especially when it comes to the Jedi and there values/philosiphy Which is why you two were connecting lots of similarities between Star Wars and Kung Fu Panda

The biggest issue i have with this movie is the brain fart the writers had during tai lungs escape. Why didnt he prison leave the lift at the top after the warden and messenger ascended. They had no reason to lower it back down except for it to serve as a tool for tai lungs escape.

I agree with your decision, Star Wars movies hit a slow and painful decline. The originals were fantastic. The prequels were corny and poorly acted but still had good plot and world building. Force Awakens has good pacing, comedic timing, and acting but bad plot and world building. The next two sequels are irredeemable trash, with bad plot, bad acting, bad pacing, bad jokes, bad world building. Not to mention the plot holes in the sequel trilogy make Swiss cheese look solid. The sequel trilogy permanently tainted how I look at the franchise, and I lost all desire to engage with any new Star Wars content post sequels. It's indescribable how bad the last two movies of the Star Wars are. I remember watching the Last Jedi in theaters and cringing at half of the scenes, and being in disbelief of the other half. Don't come back to Star Wars movies.
