“With great power comes great responsibility”, the best superhero quote🔥. The whole cast is great and for some of the actors this film was their biggest film, for actors such as James Franco etc. JK Simmons as “J Jonah Jameson” is one of my favorite characters in the entire trilogy as I adore his comedy, the way he talks and his sense of humor😂😂👍. It’s very realistic, raw and relatable. The music/score was great. Willem Dafoe is such a brilliant actor as he as great in this movie as Norman Osborn aka “The Green Goblin”, as I loved that mirror scene of his where he sees his reflection and talks to his dark side as it was so well shot. The Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy is so amazing, iconic and nostalgic as it brings back so many memories, and I hope you react to all of it. Loved your reactions/analysis, enjoy life, take care and have a good one❤️

This is still my favorite Spider-Man. It captures the true essence of those original comics. It's not about plot as much as the characters and their lives. More like a soap opera than a save-the-world Hollywood blockbuster. And yet it was a blockbuster.

Even though I understand the hype around The Dark Knight trilogy, to me, this Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 are the greatest live action superhero movies of all time. And I agree with Sophie about the order of ranking of the different Spider-Mans. And you guys pointed out some things I hadn't thought about like why MJ and Harry are the way they are. I think the reason why this Spider-man gains fans and withstands the test of time so well is because it almost kinda sets Spider-man up as a... mythical figure? In a way? Maybe a folkloric one? The over-the-top moments, the way they - like you guys were saying - made even mundane things seem so dramatic, how epic the struggle between good and evil are in both Peter and Norman, the perfect wisdom of Uncle Ben and Aunt May, the pedestal Peter places MJ on... Raimi does a great job of making this Spider-man's story seem larger than life in every way. The characters all behave like they're part of a mythology. Its very interesting. And its why I hate to say Macguire's is the best one. THIS trilogy is trying to tell his story very differently than Holland's or Garfield's. Those Spider-man stories try their hardest to make Peter feel like a grounded character; a real person. I think all three of them accomplish what they're trying to _do_ with the character very well.

Goblin serum enhanced his mental capacity, strength, stamina, speed and agility at the cost of Madness. In the comics They were trying to recreate the the same serum that made Captain America but wasn't quite there, Norman went mad and kept the secret formula to himself.

Later on Hobgoblin finds the green goblins secret lair a few years after the Norman died and thinks Norman was crazy cause for everything he was doing as the goblin he could have just become rich selling the stuff, but Hobgoblin realized that Norman was right and he was better of being the only one with the power and gadgets so he too kept it to himself.

Bro bonesaw is actually macho man 😂😂. But no lie it took me till I was 13 to realize it was him. I used to think he wasn’t a real person. And oh yeah, tobey maguire’s Spider-Man is actually closer to the comic book Spider-Man in story. The only thing that Tom has that’s more accurate is the fact that he was with the avengers when he was young. But Spider-Man actually did sign up for a fight to win money in the old comic books. His aunt May and uncle Ben are actually supposed to be old and not a milf and an absent uncle in Tom’s universe 😑. And the way goblin died in this movie is the same way he died in the comic. But Andrew gets the edge in that situation because Spider-Man was supposed to be with Gwen Stacy first and not Mary Jane. And if they would’ve did to Mj what they did to Gwen in Tobey’s movies, it would’ve been way too dark. Cause how Gwen died is actually how she died in the comic. He tried to catch her and she slammed her shit on the ground. Imagine they did that to mj in this movie. People would’ve been pissed cause it’s the wrong chick that’s supposed to die. In the comic, the goblin (Norman) died right after he killed Gwen.

The REAL SPIDER-MAN No but each spider man brings in something that's needed for the franchise and character, basically like Batman Movie Trilogies....... But my favorite has always been Raimi's take. Toby is a great Peter, as in being a dork and growing someone who was sorta immature to a young adult...... Spiderman is wobbly Andrew Garfield definitely had a great Spiderman style, swinging and agility but not the BRUTE strength that Tobey brought. His peter.... imo was garbage only because of the writing. Seemed to be cooler than the nerds AND bullies. His own lane which didnt feel like Peter except him being smart. Tom Holland, the fans seem to like him. I kinda do but he too corny, but I'd say it's cuz of Disney Image and having the avengers on board..... Overall Tobey just got what I remember from watching the cartoons on Tv

Now, I've watched a lot of people's first time reactions to this movie because it may very well be may personal favorite movie of all time, but I'm not sure I've ever seen people just _get_ this film as much as you two did. It really was wonderful to see you guys truly enjoying this film and picking up on so much of what made this movie as well-written as it was. I also appreciated that you guys really didn't bother to sugarcoat your feelings on how this movie compares to other films and were just being all-around very genuine in your reactions, which is something I sometimes don't see as much of in other people's reactions.
