FIRST TIME WATCHING Light and Shadow (ft. Hiroyuki Sawano) | Star Guardian Animated Trailer - League of Legends

Okay so as far as I know (I am not read up on Star Guardian Lore) the only 'real' villain here is Zoe (the floaty girl with the portals). Ahri (Nine-Tails from KDA), Neeko (Chameleon), Rakan (Male Bird) and Xayah (Female Bird) used to be on a Star Guardians team, like a group of magical girls you'd see in shows like Sailor Moon and Madoka Magica. However, in an incident Neeko, Rakan and Xayah were thought to have died. Ahri discovered that they were actually locked in a large tower created by Zoe. Zoe is an evil Star Guardian that managed to corrupt Xayah and Rakan (Xayah doesn't know about this but Rakan is fully aware that they were 'turned') but Neeko held on for a while. Neeko actually managed to get out of the tower a few times, but as seen in the video the final gate just leads back into the tower's main room. Ahri realizes that her three teammates aren't actually dead and goes to find them, which is why she arrives at the last moment, when Neeko is about to get corrupted too. The corruption is a weird thing, where it slowly eats away at your good will and positive emotions. Rakan doesn't want Xayah to hurt herself, since he clearly knows what is going on with them, which is why he heals her, taking her corruption upon himself so that she doesn't have to suffer. Xayah also does acknowledge him, it's just a little harder to see (when Neeko used her giant explosion she caught him when the floor broke). There is actually a second Star Guardians team consisting of Lux, Janna, Jinx, Poppy and Lulu in the video called "Burning Bright". They are Ahri and her team's juniors.

Also Ahri has another new team which Ezreal,Syndra,Soraka, and Sarah are in. (Sarah and Ahri knows Neeko,Rakan, and Xayah also and I think Ahri is hiding stuff from Sarah because she wants to deal with it alone. ) but the reason they aren’t there is because they are having a pajama party and Ahri told them that she had something important to do. When Sarah asked her what it was Ahri told her not to worry about it and she has to handle it alone. The ‘thing’ she had to do was save her comrades from Zoe .

A LITTLE BACKGROUND: The little purple girl is zoe, the couple are xayah and rakan they are resurrected and corrupted by zoe who is an ancient star guardian member that went rogue, the girl that was being chased is neeko who went into hiding when rakan and xayah her original team mates died. Last girl is ahri who was their leader on their old team who is now trying to save neeko. Ahri, MF, Xayah, Rakan, Neeko were once a team. They fought against Zoe and lost. Xayah and Rakan were killed. Neeko was thought dead too but actually managed to escape but Xayah believes neeko betrayed and abandon them. Also a little plot twist, rakan isn't fully corrupted he is aware of everything that's happening and is trying to save xayah from corruption even if it means he will have to take that corruption onto himself while waiting for the right time to back stab zoe

Little bit of info. The people who made the music for this did work on the OST for Attack on Ttitan. Neeko is the girl the video mainly follows. Rakan is the guy in the video, and the woman with the feathers is Xayah. The 9-tailed fox girl is Ahri and the portal girl is Zoe. This skin set for the characters is anime magical girl themed, like sailor moon (or Madoka Magica if you want the darker magical girl anime's for reference). As for suggestions for what you should react to next, I would suggest the ENTIRE opening ceremony for 2019's League of Legends Worlds Ceremony. To see the entire ceremony is impressive. Though Giants is, in itself, also impressive just on its own.

About the lore, to understand what your seeing : Star guardians are a group of high school students (for the most of them), and they have superpowers to protect the universe from evil. About the characters, 5 star guardians are missing, we see them in the first video, "Burning bright", but, there is 2 generations : - the first one with Lux (Pink color) , Jinx (Red color) , Lulu (Green color), Janna (Purple color) and Poppy (blue color), we can barely see them in the beginning of Ahri's video but Burning bright video is better - and the 2nd one with Ahri (Nine tail fox), Ezreal (Blue boy), Soraka (Green girl), Syndra (purple girl) and Miss Fortune (Red girl). About Light and shadow video, Xayah and Rakan (The characters with wings) were also star guardians with the second generation, but they got killed by Zoe (The purple evil girl) and then resurected and corrupted, Xayah is completly turned evil, Rakan is also corrupted but aware of what happened, he's following Xayah because he's her lover and also want revenge on Ahri for letting them die. About Neeko, the chameleon character, she was with Ahri, Miss Fortune, Xayah and Rakan as star guardians, but when Xayah and Rakan got killed, Neeko ran away and remained hidden to survive. Star Guardians thought that Xayah, Rakan AND Neeko were killed. But then Ahri felt Neeko distress, so she came to save her. It's a different lore than K/DA, because theres Ahri, consider that it's an other dimension, universe, reality.

The Story around it was Zoe(the teleporting child) was or is corrupting the star guardians.. She turned Xayah and Rakan(the 2 bird people) and the 3 were after Neeko(the lizard girl). Before they could reach her Ahri(9tails as you call it) steped in too save the group. KDA is a skin line from the game that Ahri is all over.. Star Guardians is another skin line shes in.

Everyone there from the first vid apart from the devil child were part of a team. Every guardian has a star charm, the three broken charms in Ahri's hand belonged to Rakan, Xayah and Neeko. The first two are lovers and died side-by-side in combat, while the latter fled. Zoe, the purple kid, resurrected and corrupted then lovers and sent them to find and kill Neeko. Xayah think the guardians left her and Rakan die so she was more than happy to do the deed, while Rakan, who's less so is playing villain while trying to take in Xayah's corruption so he can free his lover and reunite her to the other guardians. Even if it means losing his self in the long run.

There is one other Star Guardian video that is a precursor to this, but it doesn't make this any less confusing honestly lol. There's a whole lore, and it's one of the many alternate universes Ahri is included in since she's a popular character. Basically the girl who can open portals is corrupted and corrupted the couple with wings, and they were trying to corrupt Neeko, the chameleon girl. They were all SG's before, which is why Ahri had three little star fragments (representing the couple and Neeko.) There's a lot of LoL content to react to, so keep going if you enjoy it, but I would get someone to chronologically order them for you so things like Star Guardian videos aren't as confusing, etc. :)

Teleporty girl (Zoe) is portrayed as evil in this video (her original lore paints her as basically a God of mischief, with the powers to go with that). She corrupted the other two peeps (Xayah is the girl, Rakan is the dude. They are a legit couple in the lore, but it's usually more portrayed as him doing everything for her, and her rarely giving back). Lizard girl (Neeko) is the star guardian and the other three are legit trying to kill her (or corrupt her too, as you see when the video turns full psychedelic anime style). Just as Neeko was getting corrupted too, Ahri (yes, the same from K/DA) shows up to stop it and save her. (The crystals in Ahri's hand at the end of the first video, I think, is to show that she lost her friends / other star guardians) And for the second video, you're probably thinking of like Sailor Moon and the like.

The nine taled fox Ahri was once the leader of a Team from Starguardians. Miss fortune (not in the viedeo) Neeko the Lizard and the 2 Birds Xayah and Rakan. They fightet Zoe (the portal Girl) and Xayah,Rakan and Neeko seemed to died then. Thats what Ahri and Miss fortune tought. But Neeko run away back then and Xayah and Rakan actualy died. Zoe got them back to life and corrupted them. Xayah is now 100 Corrupted but Rakan still know whats going on. He tryes to safe Xayah but stayes by her side (the evil side) becourse he loves her. Neeko fights them (how you see in the Viedeo). Ahri know whats going on and that thers a fight. So she goes ther. And Viedeo and story end. Till now. The second Viedeo you watched was actually before Light and Shadows. Its Ahris new Team including Miss fortune.

Well the "Star Guardians" are one of the most popular skin lines (skin set, series, collections, whatever) Riot has introduced to the players, it's basically a promotion video for the skins. Same as K/DA. (but K/DA involved into something much more than a mere promotion) Additionally, consider the original design of the characters the original universe, its lore and stuff will match up with the story of League of Legends, all those different skins are in different universes. For example, the cinematics "Warriors" and "Awaken" "New Dawn" etc., are all based on the original universe. K/DA and TRUE DAMAGE are in the same universe. And then there's the Star Guardians' universe. etc. Ahri, has appeared in a lot of universe (due to its high popularity). Some examples, New Dawn (original world), Star Guardians K/DA Spirit Blossom (from the cinematic "kin of the stained blade" and "the path, an Ionian myth") And btw, (if you somehow read through all the bs above xD), all Overwatch Animated Shorts are worth watching/reacting. I don't really play the game that much, but every single one is fire, Blizzard definitely goated it.

So theres 5 characters, first girl that throws is a starguardian, she is an agressive damage character, a starguardian but she and her lover the other guy who protects her are corrupted by the teleporting girl who is a very very old entity a dark star called zoe, the transforming girl is Neeko and she can transform into her allies thats why she can transform into her old friends because they are just controlled by a nightmare. The Zoe can put people into sleep, nightmares in her darkstar skin and thats what she isdoing to neeko putting her in anightmare, there is a total of 15 starguardians atm, and the group ahri belongs to is destroyed thats why she carries the stars of her fallen friends.

They've been a bit corrupted by zoe (the bad lil shit). Because xayah and rakan have been abandoned by ahri cuz it was an order of the big boss of all the star guardians. But she actualy decide to save them now. And yeah, xayah and rakan attacks neeko cuz they've been told by zoe.

The last person who came to the rescue is Ahri, the girl with transformation ability is Neeko, the bad girl that can create teleport is Zoe, the couples are Xayah and Rakan(the dude). Ahri, Neeko, Miss fortune, Xayah, Rakan used to be a Star Guardian team. Zoe has the primal star power, that's why she is really strong, but somehow she abandoned light and embraced the darkness. Ahir is the captain, and during a fight with Zeo, Xayah and Rakan got killed instantly by Zeo. However, Zoe managed to revive them and corrupted them to her side. Xayah received the worst corruption and became very irritable. She blames Nekko and others for abandoning them during that fight. She still cares about Rakan, but it's just her personality changed by corruption and all she wants is revenge and kill. Rakan still has consciousness, he knows Zeo will do everything to destroy all of the star guardians. He tries to slow down the corruption of Xayah. The reason why Zeo embraced darkness remains unknown, but it is most likely she hates the fate of star guardians. Star guardians protect the universe, but once their energy fades away, they will just die, and the star will choose another "host" to become a new star guardian. Zeo probably hates such fate, or she lost someone important to her as well. You can tell from the second video that Ahri also questions the destiny of star guardians. Ahri formed the new team with Miss Fortune, Ezeral, Soraka, and Syndra after Rakan and Xayah got corrupted. The first video happened after the second video just let you know. Fun fact: Syndra also uses dark magic and this might have some relationship with Zeo. The reason why Ahri went alone to save Neeko is that she doesn't want anymore friends to sacrifice. You can see she is holding three broken star medals, they represent Xayah(green), Rakan(blue), and Neeko(yellow). Spoiler alert: Ahri did not defeat Zeo and she went missing.

The anime that you may associate with these is Sailor Moon. I don't know the whole story of the Star Guardians but I think they are teams of warriors chosen by "The Mother Star" or something like that, to fight the darkness in the universe. So there are multiple teams. Ahri (nine tail) had a team with Rakan, Xayah (the love birds) and Neeko (the girl running in fours) (And maybe Miss Fortune, which is the one with guns at the end of the second video you saw) But as it is the destiny of all the star guardians they die/get corrupted or something. So Ahri lost her original team and got a new team with Sarah Fortune (that is the team you see in the second video you watched). In the first cinematic you watched Ahri is looking to save her old team I think. There is also an other new important team that is shown in the burning bright video (Lux's team)

Star guardian is a skin line in LOL, they divide into 2 parts, the star guardian line, and the dark star line, so they fight each other. the portal girl is Zoe she can trap others in nightmares, if you play league you would have a better understanding of the trailer. By the way, don't doubt yourself, you are right, that girl stand in the lights is Ahri, the nine-tail fox, she is from K/DA in another League Universe.

I suggest you to watch, "Burning Bright" First for star guardian lore and next one up is "New Horizon" which is the nine tail fox "Ahri" is going to save her CORRUPT allies in this video "Light and shadows" hence, why she holds three broken gems. Her corrupted allies is trying to corrupt the lizard girl "Neeko" who's escaping them. "Ahri" came to save them once and for all. that's why neeko was blooming when she saw ahri.

The guy and the girl with wings are Xayah and Rakan, they are a couple. The chamaleon ( the girl who made the explosion. ) is Neeko. The purple girl with the portals is Zoe ( she is evil. ) And the fox is Ahri. Xayah, Rakan, Neeko and Ahri, are a group of star guardians ( protectors of the universe etc. ) but Xayah and Rakan where corrupted by Zoe, that’s why they are fighting Neeko, and in the end when Ahri show’s up is to help her 3 friends, turn back Xayah and Rakan, and reunite the group again with Neeko and the others star guardians. ( there’s other comment here who explain in more detail, recommend. )

Better to watch the 3 star guardian videos in a specific order or its confusing lol. The order is Burning Bright, A New Horizon then Light and Shadow. Also the 3 stars Ahri hold in her hand are the gems of her fallen teammates Xayah, Rakan and Neeko which you see in the trailer. She thought they all died. Later on reason she goes alone to rescue them, was because she doesn't want to get her current teeammates involved or in danger since she blames herself for not being able to save those three. Neeko actually managed to avoid getting corrupted by Zoe and evade her until this trailer. Meanwhile Xayah and Rakan were actually corrupted. Rakan isn't 100% corrupted and still has a sense of his former self. What you see in the video is he's using parts of his last light left to take the corruption from Xayah so she doesnt' fully lose herself. He's willing to sacrifice himself to keep her herself. Unfortunately she holds hatred for her former team for leaving them to die. In their in game recalls you can see Rakan sacrificing the very last of his light to deliver it to Xayah and he becomes fully corrupted. While in Xayah's recall she receives Rakan's light and becomes pure again. Pretty dark recalls for their Star Guardian skins lol.

Almost ALL that vídeos tou watched, was for promote skins you can buy in game. The tailed Fox girl name is Ahri, and she is a playable character, she have 4 skins KDA, and that star Guardian. Pentakill is the name of another coletion of skins to the character, and true damage is another LINE of skins. Another vídeos are to promoter Championships or the New Seasons. The real game do not look like the that vídeos, but ALL the animations are freaking awasome

My English is not perfect but i Will try to explain, Ahri (Fox) was the first leader for Star guardians, she Lost the fight with Zoe the purple Loli, Zoe corrupted the ahri's team Xayah and Rakan (the lovers), Xayah first and Rakan only accept to try to rescue her lover Xayah... Neeko (the chamaleon) try to hide and run away but is trapped, Zoe try to corrupt him... Ahri's try to rescue and recover her Team (that is the reason for the three stones in his hands, was the stars to be Star guardians, and Rakan Xayah and Neeko Lost the stones in the Lost with Zoe)... The first vídeo You see is the third in trilogy and the second is the second, in the second Ahri form a new team to rescue the first team Hope You understand, i'm argentinian but like your reactions.
