Oh I love this show. The actress who plays Claire was super pregnant with twins when they filmed this pilot. You can see all the classic sitcom pregnancy hiding tropes of the counters, cushions, baskets and bags. She gave birth before they filmed the rest of the season

I have not been able to watch the shows my spouse and I used to watch over and over together. Modern Family was our favorite comfort show. She passed away a year and a half ago and I have been having a hard time post-election. You have totally made my day and it feels so good to laugh. I love your reactions! Dan, I don't know exactly how old your children are but Modern Family is excellent family binge watching. I think our youngest was about seven. He's fifteen now and we still all watch it as a comfort view regularly.

And I have to say, first times a watched this, I had no idea that the actor who plays Clear was pregnant in this episode. Now that I know it is very obvious that they are using all the «hide the pregnancy bump» tricks. But I never noticed when I did not know 😄

I love watching people in other countries - especially the UK - vibing to our classic sitcoms. "Four minutes in, and I already love these characters." That's why I'm happy to report that the writers are amazingly consistent depicting their personalities. So we'll see Phil trying his incredibly lame "street cred gangsta" stuff a few more times, but the writers don't beat us over the head with it until it becomes monotonous. You will never say,"Oh crap, Phil is in Pitbull mode again; I'm gonna go make popcorn." 😊🤭😉

Tbh modern family was on until like 2-3 years ago lmao and it was until its last season an incredibly popular show with multiple emmys. Like the humor would work nowadays because it still did. Is all about knowing where to punch. Like its always sunny. People go “dark humor wouldnt work nowadays” meanwhile its always sunny in Philadelphia is still on air and popular as ever.
