Here is a simple fact which cannot be denied. In the Beginning there had to be an Original Man and Woman and when you die, at some point you are going to come back. Think about it. Every Person that came after the First Man and Woman will be different. However, eventually you will have went through every Variation you can get, then the Original comes back. You will have a different Name, different Parents, may live in a different Country, but it will still be you. The same applies to everyone.

'That guy' - Micheal Collins, had on a previous mission undertook two space walks, so he had that experience under his belt anyway. The 'loneliest man in the world' term was made up by a journalist and he has on many occasions rebutted that, saying he was happy orbiting the Moon alone : It was impossible for all three to land and walk. There had to be one who stayed in the Command Module and orbit while the other two took the attached Lunar Module to the Moon and return after the landing and walk. He wasn't twiddling his thumbs doing nothing but as part of his remit took photographs of the moon surface from afar and undertook other tasks.... He passed away a couple of years ago but was very humble and fascinating to listen to and read about.

I've looked into the goat charity thing, and ofcourse the big selling point being the milk they provide. But the other major thing, is that goat manure is incredibly high quality fertilizer. This can help with farming in areas that struggle due to poor quality soil. So they can help the community with the goat, and they can sell or use the products themselves aswell as potentially running a goat farm as they are far easier to keep than cows
@ohlookitsmikey5 күн бұрын
That's a good point about fertilizer! I was assuming it was hard to grow things due to lack of water, but perhaps it is also bad soil nutrients. It's also worth remembering that mammals don't produce milk forever, only around giving birth (possibly before I guess) so i dont think that's a huge factor of it
@Dr_KAP5 күн бұрын

The confusing thing about the goat is that it doesn't endlessly produce milk, only around the time it gives birth, so one goat wouldn't really cut it as it needs to constantly be impregnated to produce milk. So then the benefit of the goat is the meat, which I'm not sure how long that would take to be usable and how long it would last versus the cost of it all :/ So oddly that's the reason i'm with Karl on this one!
@michaelcaffery50382 күн бұрын
I've never kept goats but cows keep producing milk after giving birth because they are milked by humans. I presume goats would be the same. On the other hand, goats can seriously degrade the environment by killing trees so I'm sort of on Karl's side on this too.

There's vegetation where most African populations live so that goats can sustain themselves. There's already goats being farmed in these regions. The gift of a goat is to folks who are too poor to afford one. Cheesemaking is widely known amongst rural people too. It only requires the addition of an acid such as vinegar or rennet (stomach acid from livestock) to milk so that it seperates into curds and whey. The curds are then compressed into cheese.
@ScepticEngineer5 күн бұрын
The whole goat giving thing - the family don't actually get a goat - they just get the resources that a goat can provide, so they get milk and cheese which they can consume or sell - they don't get an actual goat

We did react to Hi Ren and Tale of Jenny and Screech over a year ago now. We got tons of hateful messages in the comments, through email, and through our Instagram dms over a few week period and decided to delete the reactions and move away from Ren. Long story, but here's the run down of what happened. With Hi Ren, we were requested over and over to react to it. At the time we were still very new to reacting. We were trying to remain a wholesome channel. Some of our nieces and nephews were watching our content, and so when we first went to react to Hi Ren we only made it about a min in before stopping it. As the requests continued to poor in and as we grew we decided to react to it. By the end we were in tears and we now understood. During our intro and outro I did speak on why it took us so long and people just weren't having it. I felt even besides that we gave a great reaction and spoke from our hearts. The rationality of why it took so long was very short, but that's what people latched onto. The comments weren't all negative though. There were a lot of people requesting Tale of Jenny and Screetch next. So we did. I get what Ren does, he uses the vulgarity and visuals to paint a story of how things can be in hopes to teach people that there is a better way. Still, we were very uncomfortable with putting out that video with the amount of vulgarity was in it. I looked around at other reactions and I found Charasmatic Voices reaction. She censored the entire video. Ren himself commented on the reaction and thanked her for it. I took this as an okay from Ren himself to censor our reaction. It was the only way we felt comfortable putting it out. Then the real hate for us began. It was weeks of reading the most hateful things we've ever read towards us. Our skin has grown thicker since then, but even now it's not healthy to read that type of stuff on a daily basis, especially not at that level. I reached out to Ren's team to maybe get some advice on how I should handle it. I spoke to a few renegades as well who reached out offering help because they saw the hate we were getting. We made the tough decision to just delete the reactions and move on. No hard feelings for Ren our his community. I think the way we handled it wasn't great either. We shouldv'e just reacted or not reacted. Trying to alter it into something that it wasn't wasn't the answer. If we were to react today things would be very different, but I'm just not sure how to go about that. People want to see first time reactions. We want to make first time reactions. Unfortunately we ruined this one. Sorry for the long drawn out response, but I hope this explains it all in detail for you.

What you'll find with a lot of the Monkey News is that there are elements of truth to the stories, Karl's mind just takes it to another plane of insanity. There was indeed a TV show in Moscow, which aired from 2001 until 2009 on a local channel, and it had a recurring segment where a popular Russian biologist brought out an array of animals. He did bring a chimpanzee onto the show one night, and everything was going fine, but - just before the last commercial break had ended - the presenter became ill and couldn’t finish the last part of the show. When the commercial ended they showed a shot of the chimp sat alone at the desk for a while as the biologist got prepared to replace the sick presenter. Cher was certainly not involved, and the chimp definitely did not carry out an interview. Ratings might've spiked a little, though.
