I went to catholic school in Brooklyn as a kid, every Wednesday we would get out early at 11:30 because the public school kids would come in and use the school for Bible study, every Wednesday when we’d get out early my grandmother would pick me up, take me to blockbuster, I’d rent a movie or a video game, then we’d hit up McDonald’s and I was set. The idea with the youngest sister was probably that she tried so hard to not be like her mother and older sister that she became anorectic instead. Basically, all the women in that family have issues with food.

I think so too. So cool how this show communicates so much about its characters (even minor ones) from one little scene. Catherine’s extreme thinness combined with her getting so upset over the focus on food was clearly indicating some sort of eating disorder.
