Story of every dad (*car) I ever sold. Best gmt400 I ever had was a 98 tahoe. Passenger door liked to swing open. Drove it two years like that just always had a passenger to hold it in case. Finally fixed if the day before I sold it. The fix cost $12.

Sold my hotrod 55' pick-up to a friend after spending ALL night tuning, tidying loose ends etc. Next day he came back whinning about "there's still a bit of a BOG when ya stomp it". Took it for a spin, came back & told him it ran better than the WHOLE TIME I had owned it & all the time of night before getting it ready for him. He seemed disappointed I wouldn't do more' so I held out the keys & his $- said pick one! He left w/ the truck!

I did it at the wholesale warehouse i ran and even had back-up keys for each vehicle so if one set got lost we could use the truck . I found the key box and key chain tabs i used at Office Depot .

Hated to see that car go but he gave me a 64 442 to drive! Hated to see that go too but life goes on & changes come & we adjust. You’re a great builder & you drive the wheels off your cars & that’s what it’s all about! I’m 73 now & drive the wheels off my 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe, it’s not a hot rod, but it goes pretty good!
