The Mi TV Lux transparent costs 7 grand, it came out in 2020.

I can only imagine this tech going main stream and then having multiple layers of transparent OLED panels to create depth.

@@danielsin haha 😆 I don't doubt it. But I can imagine it's natural evolution for it to happen at some point. Some kind of product exploring the idea. Can be 10+ years away. Could be movie sets, amusement parks, military, hobbyists...

Maybe gimmick for TVs, but for computer screens there are advantages to such things.

Imagine if they could use this technology to create Mr. Glasses. Similar to the wireless transparent screen of the TV, the Mr. Glasses would appear as regular sunglasses, allowing us to see through them. Our phones could serve as the accompanying device, connecting seamlessly to the Mr. Glasses.

I think this will be a great TV for gaming in 10 years. Transparent tv is going to be good because if you're In a dark room and don't want a bright display this will be perfect I think if they can figure out how to keep it good in direct sunlight it's gonna be a hit. Since it's transparent the light just pass through so no glares.
