First witness testifies over emails in open records dispute involving DA Fani Willis

Dexter Bond, deputy of operations of Fulton County District Attorney's Office, was questioned about email communications related to the media monitoring company.

Anybody complaining about Mrs. Merchant's questioning of the witness needs to remember they brought this case because their open records requests were not fulfilled. The rest of us citizens who seek out information that SHOULD be available just has to accept that they say it is available yet dont respond to our requests. Unless we want to pay to sue the D.A. the problem will never be corrected....luckily someone is doing it for us. We should be thanking her. Defending the government for not fulfilling their own policies is a weird stance.

@luckewoman0348 it is required that the person requesting information communicate properly and more then likely understand the jargon of the person they are requesting information from this is 100% miscommunication and a overzealous lawyer who is running out of time. It's almost November ahhhhh

You can also go to the department that handles open records request and write what you need from them on a peice of paper and hand it to them and they have 7days to respond it's not just emails

What I see is that this lawyer wants priority over everyone else. That's what I see she is creating a case based on no actual facts just assumptions she is making and then arguing with whomever isn't proving what she is trying to prove. Sorry, that is what I see. And after this because this case is televised also providing the "backdoor architecture" for how the county is structured internally and leaving all elements including individuals identities and all other information which could be involved in whatever scheme (the lawyer) believes is happening. All these people are not criminals. They are normal everyday people.

This attorney is overzealous and trying to prove something but is neglecting to understand that she is not the only human being on the planet and many people are part of the Fulton county DAs office and are employed there. Just because she is overzealous and additionally believes she holds a higher rank than other humans around her does not mean that they didn't do whatever their job is.
