DevaCurl SuperCream vs. Cantu Curl Activator Cream | Battle of the Curly Hair Cream Stylers

Most of the times I use the curl activator cream on it's own. I'm really obsessed with the product actually. If I want more frizz free results or just Some more hold because of rain and/or humidity, I put a layer of the cantu define and shine custard on top of it. Et voila, A super shiny, frizz free result. That combo even looks better than the supercream. I really like you comparing comparable products. I hope you keep pampering us with uploads like these. Also two very comparable products in result are the devacurl styling Cream and the kinky curly knot today.. Maybe you could give them a go? Much love from Holland, Marjory

Cantu’s Curl Activator does in fact pair perfectly with the Define and Shine Custard. It works great during the New York City Summer months.

I guessed correctly. A little gel over the Cantu would probably make it as good as the DevaCurl side. I love DevaCurl, but sometimes cannot justisfy the prices, especially the price of the supercream as well as the amount.

devacurl has more shine ... a little less frizz.. not as lengthening... not a big difference to justify 5oz lol the cantu is just fine

To be fair, I noticed during the styling process that the right side needed more water. You probably should have sprayed it some more before adding the product. It was frizzier to begin with.

I knew the right was cantu because I use it and it has the same result on mine. Very fluffy with a bit of frizz. Still ❤ it tho :)

Now I am seeing this review and there's no need to purchase the Supercream anymore!!! 😉 Huge difference in my wallet, so little in my hair! 😂 Gonna mix it with the Devacurl B'leave in and the Devacurl Angel Arc Gel! your right side is devacurl and left side Cantu. I never used Cantu before but devacurl leave my hair super frizzy compared to other products.

I tried Cantu after watching this video and OMG!! Is the best thing I’ve put on my hair! My hair looks so shiny and my curls are defined. I can’t believe it an inexpensive product! My hair does not like DeVa products at all it feels so dry and dehydrated! Cantu curl creams wins for me.

Here's my rant about Deva curl. After £22 gone from my bank account, it looks great on the first day but after day 3, my hair reeked of sour milk and gone off coconut milk. I brushed it out before straightening it and liter mounds of dusk where dropping on I know this because my phone was fully coated in it where it was dropping down. I've just purchased cantu
