Even earning far less than American workers in America, they make more than they would in India and send much of that home to India. The right answer for India is to remove all their kickbacks and nepotism from business and create a robust environment for them to thrive in but that is no easy task on many many fronts. Additionally if India tries to "leapfrog" their industries into these highly skilled highly paid ones they end up with a very "in your face" wealth disparity of the "haves" and "have nots" India needs to grow up the food chain and develop a middle class before catering just to the high end. There is unlimited work visas given to organizations in medical research. Unlimited. 10% of the immigrants can't communicate in English. Another 10% communicate poorly. Another 20% have some issues. Many of the jobs are just pushing buttons on machines in a certain pattern and that's about it. Most of the workers do NOT need to have unusual talent and do not have unusual talent. Most Americans could be trained to do these jobs in a couple of weeks. What the Americans CANNOT do is work for poverty wages. That is the appeal for the ownership class in America. I do remember one American fellow working for UCSF and lived in San Francisco. He worked in one of UC San Francisco's labs making $24,000 per year. I asked him how he could afford rent. First India would have to decide which politician is going to own the company. Then the Indian government would have to appoint substantial regulations to monitor the company and make sure a good chunk of profits go to the government as well as endless fines for "discrepancies" The politician picked to own it would then hire all his children, brothers, sisters into upper management and cousins & more distant relatives would then make up the work force, but these would be made offers so low it makes H1B look like a gold mine. Once all that is in place, they would need to find some actual skilled workers that might actually be able to build something and give those people offers even lower than the 'distant cousin' workers are making and everyone in the company must understand and accept the strict hierarchy within the company. India has a long road ahead to get where it wants to be.

I have a lot to say about this topic. First, India will become a technology powerhouse one day, perhaps 10 years from now. The key is Semiconductors, which India lacks in manufacturing but not chip design. They are leading in AI algorithm development; however, Indian laborers performing these tasks are doing that work in the USA. I have been to India many times, and they will improve just as China is the biggest competitor to the USA, India will also become a major competitor one day to the USA, but hopefully with friendly competition overtones. India can not expect the USA to continuously be a crutch for Indian employment when it's much simpler and easier for Indian labor to work in SE Asia and even China for technical jobs. I predicted India's rise in 2008 with a Smartphone revolution presentation, and I also predicted the outsourcing of Smartphone production from China to India in 2015. Actually, Indian outsourcing companies are really the ones exploiting Indian Nationals more than Western firms. These are the facts. Indian people, for at least 500 years, like Chinese people, will travel abroad to work, they are resilient in that aspect. I admire this. India has brilliant minds, and so I say toss down negativism in your country. Don't depend 100% on the USA for your employment, many countries are accepting of Indian technology labor. Happy 2025 to India! Karl Weaver

@@aneeshsasi5589not possible. The only reason IT is outsourced to India is because of cheap labour and the moment we demand same pay, the outsourcing will continue to countries like philippenes. Its a sad reality. If not india, there are other cheap labour options available and thats where tech companies will go. Unless Indians themselves become tech giants and generate employment. But thats a long road. And dollar revenue is huge for india and to generate that amount of wealth from Indian companies alone, thats a long road. And the major problem? Nobody cares, policy makers and politicians are too busy in creating divide amongst people and have no time for actual issues.
