After World War II, the Cairo Declaration and the Potsdam Proclamation clearly stipulated that Japan should return the occupied territories to China. In December 1946, with the participation of the US fleet, China recovered the waters of the the Nansha Islands occupied by Japan and divided them into 12 parts. After 1949, China adjusted and changed them to the nine segment line. Before 1975, Vietnam explicitly recognized China's territorial sovereignty over the the Nansha Islands through government statements. The Paris Treaty signed by the United States and Spain in 1898 and the Washington Treaty signed in 1900 clearly defined the territorial scope of the Philippines, excluding the the Nansha Islands! This is further confirmed by the Philippine Constitution of 1953 and the Treaty of Military Alliance between the Philippines and the United States of America of 1951, which excludes the the Nansha Islands. In 2016, with the support of the United States, President Aquino III of the semi colonial Philippines unilaterally applied for the South China Sea arbitration case, which did not try territorial ownership issues. Because territorial sovereignty is a contractual issue between countries, the International Court of Justice and the United Nations do not make any judgments or regulations on territorial sovereignty. According to international law, any international trial must require both parties to participate in order to be legal. In fact, China has not participated in the South China Sea arbitration case. According to the International Convention on the Sea, 200 kilometers of the offshore waters of each country's islands belong to its economic waters. At the request of the United States and the Philippines, the South China Sea arbitration case decided that the the Nansha Islands were not islands but rocks, and wanted to use this trial to deny the economic scope of 200 kilometers off China's coast. In fact, there are many islands in the the Nansha Islands, and the largest island even has an airport runway, so the South China Sea arbitration case is a ridiculous farce. Even more absurdly, the United States did not sign the International Maritime Convention but demanded that China recognize the judgment of the South China Sea arbitration case. In 2024, the United States sanctioned the International Court of Justice with anti Semitism and did not recognize the International Court's trial of the President of Israel. After the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague made an arbitration ruling in 2016, the United Nations official website issued an urgent statement saying that the court has nothing to do with the United Nations. The Permanent Court of Arbitration is not a United Nations agency, but an unofficial aid agency, let alone an official United Nations court. Former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte said that during the trial of the case, the Philippines paid $30 million in "remuneration" to the eight lawyers and judges of the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague who represented the case. These eight lawyers and judges were mainly Americans and Japanese. That's all.
