They were not impressed in the celtic's performance, but rue the miss opportunities of the pacers, focusing in particular the inbound botch plays that lead to the siakam TO and Jalen's game tying 3 and Haliburton's TO. They failed to mention that at least 6 pacers scored double digit figures and shot more than 50 percent on the floor. These media people will still find fault in the celtics if they win the rest of the games easily (easy sched, guilded pathway, were expected to win) by saying they had an easier path and will not be impressed when JT doesn't score as much and struggle. I think these media people are so obsesses with JT becoming Kobe or Jordan that anything less will be a let down.

The only reason there was any adversity is because they played poorly enough to let the Pacers stay in the game. You don't get credit for punching yourself in the face in a series that you should easily sweep.

Most people just look at scoring averages and don't evaluate anything else. Luka is a terrible defensive player and Tatum is a very good, very versatile defender. It's silly to even compare them. Tatum is a significantly better overall player.
