Funny how KD was saying the environment around Lebron is toxic while playing in a great franchise like the warrior. Now he is realizing how it ain’t easy to carry a team by yourself and how much patience and leadership it takes. I wonder what Skip is gone say about this. KD wasn’t calling Lebron toxic himself. He was referring to the media around him. The quote on quote “fan boys” that cover him. Which is kinda hypocritical cause the media that surrounds KD is also toxic maybe even surpassing the media the covers Bron.

I know what KD did in golden state was special but man okc kd was so vintage I really wish we saw what happened if he just held it down there. They were close every year, it’s not like dame in Portland kd definitely could’ve got one in okc plus his legacy back then was building up. Everyone loved okc EVERYONE.

How is insinuating the starting line up can't win even with a top 10 player disrespecting them? That's a huge compliment. Now Luka, with his starting lineup, always being supportive and taking the blame himself, now that's disrespectful. KD did the professional thing clearly

KD and LeBron have different personalities and play styles. LeBron thrives in situations which the organization and team caters to him and his play style. He needs to be surrounded by shooters to succeed & he's played with equally talented teams if not more. Kevin Durant at this point of his career is not trying to grind or carry a franchise like he was in his 20's - especially considering his injury history.
@anima099

I agree, but the amount of money he got out of the contract is at least worth "grind or carry." LIke, if you gonna get paid a ton of money, you better prove your worth.

Y’all must of just started watching basketball… Lebron has thrived with nothing at all multiple years. KD is just a extremely talented roll player and a straight crybaby. All superstars are leaders sick of him crying and complaining. Btw those 2 rings count for nothing just buy a brush and play basketball.

Paying 3 max deals isnt a way to win unless you can do it like GSW did where they still had 30 mill to build a team. All free agent stars when you have 3 max contracts means you don't have the salary cap to make a truly competitive team unless all 3 are true a-1 stars. Lakers feeling it now with not having one decent mid range contract to get a shooter
