I have a 180 gallon saltwater aquarium and I have a coral beauty angel, a fox face rabbit fish, a clown fish with a second one being added soon, and a Scopus tang. I'm looking at adding a school of chromis too. Great video

I don't think that chromis should be on this list for schooling fish - especially blue green chromis. They stay toghether in the wild due to strength in numbers but in captivity there is no danger so there is no reason for them to do this. Also unlike other schooling fish, they form a hierarchy through aggression and will always pick off the smallest one until there is just one left. You could possibly have success if they were fed almost constantly (1-2x an hour) but that just isn't sustainable (tank pollution, food cost, labour). They are also a low cost and common fish, so often are treated poorly in terms of collection as well as very commonly having incurable Uronema disease

same with pterapogon/bangaii cardinals - but you can keep sphaeramia, Zoramia and ostorohincus cardinals together successfully as they form a hierarchy without aggression,

Springeri Damselfish are a good option for a hardy, moderately peaceful and schooling fish
