seriously if i owned that boat they are in a heavy fog and rain wouldnt get me off the fish, i been out in my flat bottom centre console howling southerly flogging rain waves coming over the front we was struggling to bilge and bail the water out, that was the wildest ive ever seen lake mac and ive lived on the lake for 37 years, so if i had a boat like his, i would just about live on it

@@davehookedtv Hi mate, yeah was an old trick the grandfather showed me long ago... We used to go out early in the morning(5.30am) and drift between Pulbah Island and Rocky Buoy. Always got a feed for a couple of days. Haven't fished Lake Mac since the early Nineties. Never found the time and after grandfather died, had no boat. Now I watch people do it on KZbin

Dave, I'd like to ask a question if I may, you may be able to answer it, maybe not..... Why do all fishing shows, when fishing Lake Maquarie, only ever show Swansea?? some times Belmont. Never show the west side of the lake,as if there are no fish over there,or it isn't worth talking about or acknowledging. Or even the south end of the lake.
