This video really made my day. Mr E you always do great work. I was a little confused just how the pump was going to work, but when you turned it on in the pond, that all became very clear. I'll bet the fish took off and found a safe place until they figured it out. As always, thank you for making my day. Seems like you never miss an opportunity to rewire a motor. This one was a monster, but as usual, you got it right. I sure hope KZbin is paying you for your great videos. Maybe if more people could see a video, you would get more viewers. Just need a cable on both sides of the float tied to the shore, otherwise that pump will end up walking its way back to the edge of the pond. Nice job on the restoration.

Learned my lesson with the submersible pump video and toasted windings. Exact cause of failure clear as day no sealant on the wiring going into the pump.

Excelente restauración/reparación, la única recomendación que te sugiero es con el cable de alimentación que no es adecuado para el uso que le estás dando. Por lo demás es muy bueno tu trabajo. FELICIDADES 😁👍

you didn't check the floater for leaks or the extension cord for breaks in the insulation. the paint wont protect for long. next time my friend. exelent job on the rewinding. is a lost art. great video.

The motor wasn't under a load, when it's in the water the pump impeller has a load against it.

Djamel Hamdia varnish. It binds all the enameled wire together and prevents them from chafing on one another and creating a short.

Are you mad! The copper coils create electricity without which the pump is nothing.

When they first showed disassembly, notice that one set of the windings had gotten hot and shorted out , causing the motor to not torn the rotor. That and water seepage.

I trust you are using Plastic Paint on all the Plastic Surfaces and Water Resistant Rubber Seals, or you will Poison the Fish.
