The small fish you lost at the yak was a leatherjacket. It's definitely a blessing that you lost it, they have spines on their the back that make a hardhead seem mild. I found out the hard way 😂

The Anker units literally have so many uses and always in my boat. Iam going to get a couple of the big ones for my camp up north. Any of us who have gone thru Hurricanes can attest to the value received. Anyone who wants to make big $$ would buy a pallet of them and sell them after the storm. I will never go thru another one without several units

Anker is a quality company. Great that they are sponsoring you! Keep up the great videos with those handy transitions. LOL! I fish a lot of topwaters from my Hobie 360 here in the Galveston area, but you are better at actually catching way more fish than I do because I won’t give up on the topwaters when they just aren’t working. Recently, at my son’s request, I have tried out the Japanese Ike Jime technique of preparing the fish I will be eating. It seems to elevate the quality of the filets greatly. AFTCO has the tools for the processing of your catch. Inexpensive. Check it out. Looking forward to the Brazil footage. Keep up the great content. Mike B.

You don't need to remember everything, just one...a checklist. Sit down and make a checklist, as time goes by the list will grow. You don't always need to take everything on the checklist, but it will jog your memory, and save time going back and forth to get on the water before the heat.

I use 2 FPV LiFePo4 12watt 50 AH batteries to power my OldToen 120 AutoPilot. Love it. Have never run them down. What Hobie are you in, I can't tell. Thinking about adding a Hobie Compact as a light weight alternative in SWFL for the summer. 75 lbs vs 120 hull weight. IF you're using a special lens, its working great on that water. I was trying to figure out what kayak your in. Is it a Hobie Revolution?

@theloosemoose82002 жыл бұрын
Bro, this time of year in Florida you need to be fishing slow on the bottom... Especially around my area which is where you're at...nice big paddletails or jerkbaits slow along the bottom and you will get consistent bites from the bigger fish... Right now I'm killing it on dark color 5in paddletails with gold flake..

Thanks in advance if you can.

Sometimes you seem to be so under the gun. Time constraints, what did I forget, maybe I should fish here, maybe I should fish there. It is like you don't allow youself to enjoy fishing. Look, you do a great job and your videos are wonderful. I live to fish these places vicariously through you and it is a great experience. Calm down, enjoy the moment, and care less what the people in the comments have to criticize. Thank you for all you show us and the valuable information you teach us about fishing in Florida.

Could you let us know if you always used campgrounds when sleeping in the truck, or did you use any public parking lots or things of that nature? I'm taking the same type of fishing trip down the east coast soon and was going to sleep in my Tahoe as much as possible. Just wondering any positives/ negatives of parking overnight. Anyone else chime in as well. Thanks again for sharing your journeys with us and safe travels on your trip man!!

I travel a bunch as I fished for a living for many years. I was in South Texas and had my hotel room booked.. or so I thought. Needless to say they overbooked and I was late getting there. No rooms anywhere, I had heard you could overnight in any Walmart lots. I was super hesitant bur tired as hell so I went there and parked way out from the store. I had a great night sleep and wasn't bothered by anyone. Since that night I have spent approx 60 or so nights in Walmarts and others that allow it. Saved a ton of cash and have never had an issue. Hope that helps
