Fellow south shore angler just here to say how sad I am with today’s wet, grey, 37 degree weather, and how long this winter is about to be. Thankful that at least we get to watch rich slam fish in tropical weather and waters for us!

Hey Dennis, thanks for tuning in! I definitely don’t miss those dark cold gloomy winters in North Jersey and New England. But still getting out while I can helps the winter speed by.

Dude when those tarpon jumped out of the water that literally was a national Geographic moment seriously it was some of the best video i seen of tarpon in a long time. It was right place and height fgor that jump.. awesome job keep em comming and stay safe

"Aw, it's just a jack." You know crevalle jacks are the hardest fighting fish in florida along with tarpon and amberjack. If you're releasing fish anyway, jacks are probably the best fish to mess with inshore. Go ahead. Hook a 40 pounder sometime!

Great stuff once again... Dave from Benson in Ditch here. I spent 3 years of June in Islamorada chasing the migrating Tarpon run. In a Proper sit in Kayak with foot steering. I have been beyond jealous of the speed and ground covered that foot paddling yaks can do. But I have been pulled by 180 tarpon thru many bridges and the steering with my feet. Has saved my ass while chasing big fish.. Though if I had to do it again.. It prob would be with one of yours. This time of year is different for the bones than June. Islamorada was always hot in June.. Stay safe fish on.. Thanks for bringing me back to the FLA keys. My years were 96 thru 99 in the keys.

Fishing your ass off man, the gear, the skill, the knowledge, and intuition that can't be taught... All equals.. the lag time or time it takes you to get a bite on is, I guess what I want to say is you pretty much tell the fish when you want them to bite, that's pretty good.. The ease of which you whenever that kayak while wrestling the fish, plus net work... IT'S NOT OFTEN THAT I WILL SIT DOWN & GET THROUGH AN ENTIRE FISHING VIDEO... OF ANY CALIBER OR PRODUCTION LEVEL.. SO FAR I'VE BEEN ABLE TO GET THROUGH BOTH OF YOUR EPISODES AT THE BRIDGE.. LET ME JUST SAY THAT YOUR EDITING IS GREAT BECAUSE YOU KEEP ME IN IT AND I DON'T KNOW IF YOU HAVE SOME SORT OF VIDEO AUDIO BACKGROUND BUT GOOD JOB WITH THE PACE AND THE RESPECT YOU HAVE FOR THE AUDIENCES TIME & ATTENTION SPAN.. AGAIN, WELL, I GUESS THAT CAN BE TAUGHT, BUT TO THOSE THAT HAVE IT NATURALLY JUST MAKES THE PRODUCTION LEVEL THAT MUCH BETTER AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED I WAS WATCHING AN EPISODE ON TV.. I'VE NEVER BEEN SO EXCITED TO WRITE A REVIEW ON SOMEBODY'S PERSONAL FISHING VIDEO .. AND IF YOU'RE NOT SPONSORED YOU DESERVE ONE AND I COULD SEE YOU DEFINITELY GOING PLACES WITH THIS CHANNEL.. KEEP IT UP MAN GREAT WORK

I used to fish the 7 mile bridge and yea the bull sharks love waiting for hooked fish to pick off, so many of them there.
@thepatriotsrage6613 жыл бұрын
Two observations: first hook the fish through the upper-lip only, gives them the ability to open its mouth and breathe better = lives longer. Second, cut the tip of the tail; top piece = forces the fish to swim down, bottom piece = bait swims up and it also magnifies the distress the fish is in. Awesome stuff and I am very jealous! Greets and best wishes from South Africa. Have a blessed Christmas and NY.

Something my Uncle always taught me, when fishing, if something is working don't change it in hopes it will work a little better. You were killing on the jig, big snook, 2 big tarpon, then you immediately switch to pinfish.... Should have kept throwing that jig. Great day regardless!!

Good job man great video, just from my experience. If you hook them through the nose sideways. They do tend to live longer, easier for bait to get water through their gills.
