I lived there for years and my go to for sheepshead was always the old coal trussle across the harbor from where you caught the big red. It gets pressured but you can get back into the pylons where no one else can cast to and lay waste back there. We had several 8 to 10lb class sheep's back there.
@FishAholicTV3 жыл бұрын
Wow those are some big sheep’s! I was out again yesterday and got into some larger ones but not even close to that size. But I think there’s definitely some bigger ones pushing in now. Thanks for the tips! I’ll try it 🤙🏻. Tight Lines!!

Rich you certainly have a lot going on these days, but it was a great day in the end. Giant Red was beautiful, and your pure joy is why we all love watching you fish. If that Suzuki is like my mercury there are two fuel pumps. The primary electric fuel pump and secondary mechanical fuel pump. I had the same exact thing happen to me as your describing and my primary fuel pump was perfect it was just the secondary mechanical fuel pump that basically broke into pieces(on the inside). You should check that out if you haven’t. It was a cheap and easy fix.

Hey man love the video. just a quick little comment I have a 18 inshore/flats boat and I just had that same trolling motor installed and for the wiring on the in side I put in a 3 12v system. And with the 80lb thrust it works amazing, the extra weight really helps to the bow down to really get the full range of the trolling motor. Just a little opinion form one side. Keep up the great work

Had the same problem, replaced the fuel line and primer bulb first, then started dissecting a bunch of other stuff after that didn’t work. Turned out the connection to the brand new primer bulb was installed incorrectly from the factory. The inner liner buckled when it was installed choking the fuel.

Hey rich. A little off topic but I was looking into possibly getting a St. Croix Triumph Inshore spinning rod (the newest generation). The medium takes 8-17 lb test and can handle 3/8 to .75 oz lures. The medium heavy takes 10-20 lb test and can handle .5 to 1.25 oz lures. For northeast fishing, which would you go with, the medium or medium-heavy?
@FishAholicTV3 жыл бұрын
Both rods will work well but it all depends really on what kind of scenario you’re going to be fishing most of the time. If you are gong to be doing a lot of just inshore bank or kayak fishing the medium is probably fine. But if you are going to be going out on a boat from time to time and fishing deeper water. The medium heavy will help more for penetrating the hook and having the right back bone for pulling in bigger fish.
