The only change we are making on our 28’ is getting a longer trolling motor. If it’s rough and we are offshore the 84” still pops out of the water on some waves, we are waiting on a 96”. The jack plates are standard on all of them because of the transom design.

Nick, I recently got bit by the swordfish bug. My buddy went the LP rout 10K later. I wanted to get in with either the Beasaster 9000 or the 12000. Which one would you recommend between the 9000 and the 12000?

I don’t think I have ever seen the 12000 model. I caught some on the 9000 but ran out of line a couple times and burnt one up, so depending where you’re fishing and how much current you have will be a factor on how good the reel is. It’s not gonna be your long lasting hard-core reel by any means, but for occasional use it will work. The star drag isn’t my favorite either cause if you adjust the drag while fighting a fish you don’t know where you’re at drag (lbs) wise.

Great video, as always. I have to say, though, a Yeti cast iron? I’m guessing that they sent it to you, but $400 for cast iron is ridiculous. People are buying the logo. Most of my cookware is Le Creuset or All Clad. Pretty expensive stuff, but worth it.The cast iron I ALWAYS go to is a well seasoned Lodge. $35 or so. Maybe I’m just cheap or poor cuz I can’t afford million dollar boats, but when it comes to something so simple as cookware, can you show something for the large majority of your viewers? I have to say it again; Yeti cast iron? C’mon, guys.
