I could not agree more. You see some of these fishing guys with KZbin channels with 800,000~1,200,000 subs. And they do not come close to Matt. Matt is like real wrestling and the others are like WWE. I guess some people prefer b.s., smoke and mirrors, and gimmicks...

I have caught two state of Ohio smallmouth bass in the last three days. I truly had a school of smallmouth falling my bait and trying to take the bait out of the mouth of the ones I had hooked, it was amazing and they where schooled up fall transition here in Dayton Ohio. I just want to thank you for the inspiration seriously💪🙏💯👊💙🎣🐟🤺. Because I watched your videos three years ago and still do now and my father passed away and it sparked something in me seeing you catch those pig smallmouth on your videos and yoyr bitsy bug jigging really got me into the micro jigging I do now🙏💯👊💙🎣🐟🤺. One video really stuck out to me and you where fishing and they where schooled up and you had one on and there was three or four with him and they where trying to get your spoon I think it was, out of the mouth of the one you had on and it was truly amazing and impressive. I live in Dayton Ohio and there isn't much to do but we have the Great Miami river and some truly amazing smallmouth bass fishing, but you have to hunt them, but when you do find them, it is all worth it. Take care brother and keep catching those monster smallmouth bass and thank you so much for your inspration🙏💪💯👊💙🎣🐟🤺.

I watch every video I initially, then a day or so later, if I'm having trouble sleeping, I pop in the ear buds, put on one of these videos and pass out. Better than any relaxation or meditation tape or video.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Matt is the gold standard of KZbin fishermen...I love the sound of nature and your paddle strokes gliding the kayak through water. Those smallmouths seemed especially lively today...I'm guessing the weather change contributed to that. Great video for the whole family to watch...keep it coming.

Thanks matt for sharing so many fun times out in the Kayak. Greetings from Maryland . Heading out tomorrow with a friend to a section on the Potomac River & it is getting colder here but hope that won't stop the smallie;s here from being hungry.

About 38 years ago I caught a 7 or 8 pound walleye that was packed with 1 to 2 inch crappies. The reason I remember is that there must have been almost 20 in the walleye's stomach and they were neatly rolled together like they were put in there with a machine. And it was this time of year.

Good to see your weather seems to be the same as mine here in Michigan. I was out today 50's here also, 30's at night only got a few Smallmouth Topwater, the rest on crankbaits. I look for the Smallmouth feeding on Shad and Minnows in the shallows pounding them topwater and cast a Plopper or jitterbug at them they usually attack it! The cold has slowed them down, leaves in the water also mess with things! Seems the Bass are gathering in certain stretches of the rivers...hard to pinpoint them. In the summer they are everywhere.

It’s been crazy how fast the subscribers have gone up this year! At the start of August I was predicting I’d hit 100k over the winter some time but that pike video blew up and it took about two weeks to go from 70k to over 100k!
