FISHING CAPE MORETON (HUTCHIES) GLASSY CONDITIONS

WEATHER PREDICTION WAS MENT TO BE PERFECT SO WE WENT OUT THE BAY WAS SLOPPY ON THE WAY OVER BUT WAS GREAT OUTSIDE.
WE WENT TO HUTCHIES FIRST THE WATER WAS CLEAR AS OUT THERE.
DIDN'T GET MUCH SO WE HAD A TROLL FOR ABIT GOT ONE HIT BUT NO HOOK UP,DECIDED TO HEAD BACK INSIDE FOR A FISH TO TRY RECOVER THE ORDINARY DAY MANAGED TO GET A FEW INSIDE AND BRING A FEED HOME

Weather was perfect I was hoping to pull some stuff out of hutchies but I didn't happen for me Maybe to much traffic there was about 10 boats there before I got there

Hi mate not sure on that video but atm I'm using a pe 3-4 diawa rod 5000 size reel and 30 pound braid and 40 pound leader hope that helps you mate cheers for watching the vid👌👌👌👌

Dadbods, I run 30lb braid, 30lb leader , 4000 shimano baitrunners , are you running smaller than 4000? If so what are you running for that area?

I've been using 4000 reel but I've just gone upto 5000/6000 reels and 30 pound and 50 pound as ive been done by some bigger stuff out there

Dadbods, how fast do you generally Troll ? You make me think I troll to slow :) which maybe why I don't catch on the troll.. :)

We cruise at about 8/12 kms idn if thats right or not we haven't done alot of trolling but it worked that day

The port boat ramp We've fished mud island and around the port However we really want to try some reef jigging We're from the Gold Coast and have no idea where to look parst mud is

Reef jigging you would have to be on the outside of Moreton for that i believe. But on a good day you should try around tangalooma wrecks they get kingies down that way or try abit North up near curtin and bulwer
