Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

I have got a couple of lures that have been *killing huge pickerel* in the winter. Got broken off twice yesterday too..
@theyscore7 жыл бұрын
what lures are you talking about? I would love to catch fish like that in the winter
@athrty19117 жыл бұрын
Fish Finder At bass pro or even Walmart they sell steel wire leaders. If you are fishing for pickerel, their teeth won’t cut that. You could also use 50-100 lbs mono leader as well. Down here in South Carolina, we have bowfin, gar, and pickerel, and many folks use leaders. Losing lures stinks. Hope I can help
@FishFinder7 жыл бұрын
oh yeah I am totally aware of the steel leaders. I have so many of them and typically use them for salt water bluefish. I was trying to use very light flouro leaders because the steel would change the sinking action of the lures I am using. I appreciate your suggestions
