Daniel Arms uploaded a video frog jigging and it brought back so many memories of my childhood gigging frogs with my Dad. I’m 74 years old and wish I could go back to those good old days. Love deep fried frog legs and you fixed them the way we used to. Thanks for the video ❤️❤️

When I was a little kid in South Korea, we'd go out into the rice paddies with a stick that had a nail through it. Whack a frog and it comes up stuck to the nail. Get about 40 or so frogs and an occasional snake and start a little camp fire. Clean them in a stream and grill them over coals with a little grill screen and some salt. Good times and good eats. Kudos to you and your lovely wife for posting this. Brought back some good memories.

I'm usually one to not "reminisce", but this brought back some great memories. My brother and myself used to try to catch Bullfrogs by hand and our father showed us the "fishing rod and fly" trick and from that point, we used to batch them all the time and with ease. It sure beats trying to sneak up on them and missing 9 out of 10! GREAT video!

Had thought the frogs we were getting in southern Tennessee were big, but those ones you are getting are massive! For those that don't know, they are a delicacy, and so good! We just cook them in a pan w/butter and minced garlic, squeezing a lemon across them late in the cooking process. And we take the front legs too, but never heard of the backstrap until the comments here. For those that think they are wasted, we always use the body/head to fish for catfish, as the biggest ones you'll get all yr. are normally on frogs, as they love 'em! We clean them much the same way..except I was taught to cut the feet off 1st.

I can tell with all these red hearts ❤️ given to comments that responding to everyone is time consuming, but I really do understand and Love your channel! I had great fun watching you guys catch frogs and it was hilarious at times. A technique of cleaning frogs is slightly cutting around the waste line and then taking your players to pull the skin off like a pair of pants, and I only got that from watching Duck Dynasty years ago.And by the way, I have never caught frogs, but I love to eat them!

I used to live near a swamp when I was a kid. We used a treble hook with a 1in square of red cloth in the daylight. We got bags of them They would literally jump out of the water at it. They are very agressive. Bamboo pole and a length or monofilament is all you need.

Can one of you giggers do me a favor film me a documentary video? I live in the far Northwest haven't seen a frog in 3 decades. Catch a frog dangle it from a string video it and the shoot it from 30 yards with 30.30 compare it to the Zoo-prude film of the JFK Assassination! The blood volume should be the same or you can place the zoospect in a cantaloupe or coconut I was there that day in Dallas saw the remains of a frog in the brain remains another frog was blown out people went nuts trying to talk to John frog the Bullet in the Curb was a miss frog shot you know it happens to the best of us. If you don't have a 30.30 establish friendship with the NRA or some shooting range. You might want to do a water ball on shot with cranberry juice or something with place glass behind it to show what human volume would been like same windshield difference.

That was cool as hell my freind Tony is dead now but when he was alive we went frog hunting and the coolest part was the way tony would catch frog he would go under the water like a scuba divers and come up out of the water with the gig and bam frog was caught. So try that and see if you l8ke that idea. Drc

First time I saw a frog, I didnt know what it was so I went up to it. When it jumped, I screamed and threw a shoe at it.
