A fantastic four match series watching 2 world class anglers battle it out. Although Steve won 4-0 you wouldn't bet your money on him winning a fifth as it was so tight. You always need a good draw and always need a little bit of luck to go with masses and masses of skill and swim management. These two are at the top of the tree in match fishing. A pleasure to watch and really exiting viewing. WOW!!!!!

Absolutely brilliant.... I think Andy might take away from this, even though he's probably one of the best commercial anglers ever, that maybe not to take your skill and knowledge for granted.... Steve Ringer in my humble opinion is the best angler on the planet, challenge him and he just gets better and better.... Fantastic series guys keep them coming 🎣

I enjoyed the last one too very much , you guys make these videos almost as if it would be a movie , so all you got to do is sit back , take a bowl of pop corn and enjoy every minute of it. Loved it, can't wait to se more videos like this , they are great anglers and you have everything to learn from them. God bless , cheers from Romania.

Only way to describe this match is AMAZING. It had everything from Pin point accuracy on the feeder to incredible pole action with a dose of the Black Death (Shown gorging himself on 5 to 6 Oz Skimmer) disrupting the match. I can only hope that this competition continuous next year. Fantastic guys. You are Stars in your own right. PS: I find it very sad that the presence of up to 3-4 dozens of Cormorants is tolerated as it can and does affect the matches. I believe that until a few years ago there was someone who actively tried to keep this pest under control. Great series guy's

Them cormarants are taking alot of fish, when will ea actually allow venues to use shotguns on them inland, we have to kill crayfish are cormarants not invasive inland ?
@tonyjennison31992 жыл бұрын
The comorants are there because commercial sea fishing has taken their natural food source. they are adapting to survive. We always want everything don't we? If you wish to solve this problem ban commercial sea fishing then turn that shotgun on yourself, we are the problem not them. We are spoilt enough to be able to fish for recreation and yet it's still not good enough.
@MARCLEEMATCHFISHING2 жыл бұрын
@@tonyjennison3199 that's ok for a commercials stocked for fishing but natural venues with no fishing allowed are completely decimated by these birds ,we control lots of nature when there's an imbalance , my local castle has a beautiful lake, (elveston) that has almost lost the bream shoals , every summer they get less n less, why rspb get so much say in the country? Money donated to mp who then when elected push for their particular cause, every angler should join Angling trust because if it's cormorants or destroying bream spawning grounds in the broads fish stocks will almost always lose in favor of birds, as for turn shotgun on myself , great way to get your point across

This video just shows how damaging Cormorants are to natural venues as much as commercial waters, both to anglers in match conditions and to the fish themselves. Broke my heart a little.
@tonyjennison31992 жыл бұрын
It's just what they have to do as a species to survive. Ever had sardines on toast? If so a cormorant has gone without. We've denuded the coastal seas their natural environment so what are they supposed to do? We always want everything our way don't we? It's our fault they are there. The danger is humans not them this much should be obvious.
@andymcmillan92602 жыл бұрын
@@tonyjennison3199 I agree to an extent, but my mate is an Ornithologist. She says it's more fueled by breeding habits than actual food supply purely due to the Cormorants breeding season being so long, so the competition inland for food is less so than on the coast. Yes, fish supply on the coast is a factor, but Cormorants have been inland for decades. She says it's the increase in man made lakes and conversation of reservoirs to stock fish that the birds have wised up to. It's not just Cormorants that do this. Common Gulls also have moved a lot more inland for breeding and easier food supply. It's basically like moving right next door to a supermarket instead of driving 45 minutes to get to one. The food is there it's just harder to get to. We increased fish stocks inland as angling has become more popular, which has changed the habits of birds nature. Plus it's a bird that is gluttonous. It'll eat until it can't fly with no fear of many natural predators.
