Haha I was being a cheapo haha but I figured I could figure it out but I ended up getting a different rod for about 80 that I like alot so far more videos to come with that haha... thanks for watching 🙏.

Welcome to the bfs club!I'm on a budget also and I have been using a bps pro finnesse baitcaster on a 4ft 10in eagle claw Featherlite rod for years now .I just upgraded to a 7ft diawa spinmatic ul trolling rod that I purchased from fishusa for $62 (ship and handle included)and I'm very pleased with the rod.angling with Aaron has videos about budget bfs rods and reels so I hope this will help those who want to get into bfs .

Yes so I actually ended up finding a bass pro shops cranking rod medium light fast action 7ft for 80 bucks and am really liking that so far. More videos to come I've been fishing with it alot haha. Thanks for watching 🙏.

@@GeekGeezerFishing I'm familiar with the bps rod .caught my pb 8lb on the inshore extreme 7ft 6in ml action rod. The rod I mentioned is a ultra lite and I use it for finnesse texas rig and jigs it has the backbone to set the hook at the end of cast caught a 4lber with a zoom swimming flukes Jr and 6lb floro

When they took water to fight the fire it got bad everything that was under the water is now on the surface last time I was there it was still pretty weedy especially in the coves. Thanks for watching 🙏

that explains why they were so bad, I had thought it was some sort of bloom. I spent more time getting the gunk out of my trolling motor than I spent putting line in the water that day!@@GeekGeezerFishing
