The East Fork of the Blacks Fork River flows north for 16 miles thru northern Utah's Uintah Mountains. The main fish are brook trout and cutthroats. They don't get too big here but there are a good number of them. A forest road follows the lower half of the stream and a trail will lead you to the upper half. You can park along the roadside and hike thru the woods to reach the stream. This is national forest land. While there are some fenced areas for cattle and sheep grazing you are free to trespass as you please.
