The Mitta Mitta River is a stunning river, and a stunning river system to fish. In this video I fish with my friend Mark Rizio and we fish the Mitta Mitta River and one of it's larger tributaries, the Snowy Creek.
Filmed with: amzn.to/416zR5O
The stuff I used:
Strike Tiger soft plastics: striketiger.co...
My fishing rod: Shimano Sedona
My reel: www.trellys.co...
My line: (2kg) amzn.to/3KqyIPG

Robbie. Do you bait fish much for trout? Because I might start getting into it. I heard that mudeyes are the actual pure goldmine for trout. I’ve been told different ways how to use them for trout. Using very very small hooks (2-6), hooking through tail or wings, use a float and you let it drift. Once a trout has it, you let him swim with it and then set the hook.

There had not been enough water in the river for there to be a mouth. Then the rains came at last not long before I sailed around the coast, and I managed to get inside. This week I'm planning on trying for Redfin in the South Parra River near Gawler South, SA. Wish me luck. At this stage I'll be using worm baits not lures. Fingers crossed again.
