Fishing with HEMPSEED and TARES and other seed baits

Fishing with hempseed and tares and sweetcorn for silver fish....and catching fish on a new bait. I use a rod and waggler float approach on a small, attractive lake. Float fishing is a great way to catch roach and skimmers. Using seed baits for fishing such as hempseed, tares and wheat is a good tactic.

i use wheat on canal...seems to do better end of summer..never had much on it in the colder months..some big roach 1.5lbs are quite the morm..good vid mate

@@000fishing Size 16 hook to nylon 3lb or 3.5lb should do the trick mate, Remember bushes overhang canals and rivers,Chub will go for berries.

Nice video , it’s a cracking little pond is that . I’ve never tried wheat or tares , think I’ll have a run up to sherfins and give it a go . Used to use hemp on the hook on the canals years ago for roach . Fished that pond for the first time last month and it was the same peg . Wag and mag brought small roach and skimmers every cast along with an eel so I switched to corn skins and caught better stamp of roach . In the margins to the right I fed micros and fished expanders and corn and had a couple of tench and bream about 1-1/2 along with some more roach .
