Please do a fall to winter transition tutorial for trout fishing. Just got a boat this year and its not as easy as I thought finding the fish. Lots of trips end up with an empty cooler or just a few keepers.
@TridentFishing4 жыл бұрын
i will try for sure... i think the biggest think for target winter trout is slowing down you retrieve.. like crawling it, if your using lures. Of coarse live bait is king , but will do , im still learning to right...

Not sure what part of Texas you’re in.. but I use lighter rods. Makes for a good fight and you feel the lightest tugs. Just preference though. I’ve tackled a 30” red on the lightest rods I own too so no need for those huge thick ones imo

Great video nice fish going down to corpus this weekend any suggestion to bank fish with my son not really experienced on where to fish was thinking packery channel any info would be great thanks
@TridentFishing4 жыл бұрын
To be honest man i would try this spot right here,, packery can be really good , but its usually really crowded and there alot hangs out there. but if your going with your son i would go to cosways and get live shrimp . walk to the end of there new pier towards the bridge and throw as close as you can to the bridge area and the little flats in front of the parking lot.. the earlier you can get out there the better like day break. You prob no more than a 1/8-1/2 hours weight with a 18 inch drop treble or khale hook and wait for the bite, but as close as you can get to the columns the better... good luck
