Seems odd to me, since bacon wrapped Filet Mignon is one of the natural foods in their eco system, really really puzzling! Hopefully you had enough left over to eat yourself when you got home. Chicken livers? In my area they are very effective. A variety of fish. Livers are difficult to keep on a hook so you purchase inexpensive pantyhose or get old ones from a female in your life. Cut a square maybe 1 1/2 to 2 inch square. Put liver on it then tie the hose around it or you can just use the hook to keep the nylon closed. Bigger bait, bigger piece of nylon. Keeps it on the hook and helps keep crayfish from nibbling the liver away. Just a thought for you. Enjoy your videos.
