Fishing with supermarket bread - unreal session. What a Father & Son episode this film turned out to be. TA Fishing and TA Outdoors combined forces to tackle the Chub in a river using a float and 13-foot match rod. Graeme points out what to look for in the way of locating fishy-looking swims as they work their way upstream catching fish after fish. Bait was as complicated as could be...plain old bread from the supermarket. It sent the fish crazy and the pair ended up with the best afternoon of Chub fishing they have had in years...maybe EVER !!...It's almost 50 minutes long, so plenty of time for you to organise the drinks then sit back and enjoy yet another, Totally Awesome Fishing film.

I think that is the best river fishing video I've every watched. Thanks guys it was really great watching someone using my old favourite method - long trotting! Listening to Graeme explaining about reading the river was like I remember reading in my old Mr Crabtree book. Iv just got my 7 year old son into fishing. we had our second session yesterday morning ok our local river and my boy caught his first little bass, his face was priceless! @@geraldswain3259 there are salmon ladders on the wier and in 2015 there was sign of salmon resurgence on parts of the tone. I've never caught one however so I don't think they are there in great numbers.

Bread, best and cheapest bait ever. I use bread for almost all my fishing. 54p thick sliced loaf use scissors and cut cubes around the slice edges. Can't beat it! 👍 You can keep your expensive fancy baits, bread is still king!

I used to fish a stream similar to yours with no float a ssg and a worm on a 10 hook and just let the current take it down caught some great Chub and even a 7IB Pike which was a surprise.

We don't really get chubb on North Wales but we have some great sea sessions in and a great variety of species especially through LRF if you don't mind a smaller fish a species hunt is ideal 😀 😉 good going guys

TA Fishing another fantastic video keep up the great work. As a newbie I have loaded waggler floats as I struggle with the split shots but most of time when I cast it gets into tangles because there to much line from the float to the hook end any advice on how to set up or even a short video on how to set up would be appreciated.
