My dog trooper is a beagle mutt. He’s the best boat/kayak/bank fishin dog I’ve ever seen. He loves to lick any fish caught but he goes CRAZY for catfish. He’s learned that my bigger rods usually have catfish and once he hears me set a hook he’s right at my feet standing his ground whining waiting for the catfish. He FREAKS OUT every time they get in, he licks them and barks at them and tries to bite there spines. He’s a real good boy and I love that little rascal so much, since my mom passed he’s been living with my papa and my moms dog. Trooper has so much energy and keeps my papa and my moms dog from getting depressed, dogs have so much personality. Best fishing partners

This is how I kayak and bank fish, I typically throw a cut bait out on my cat rod and then throw a worm on a medium light rod, that's how I like to fish, I do throw plastics every now and then but I prefer the other way, I'm a lazy fisherman.

It was great seeing you having a great time with Daphne. I use to take my dog fishing me on my boat. I had a female bloodhound named Mabel and she had a blast and did the same thing,she would lick the stuffing out of any fish .

I never go fishing without a good supply of night crawlers. My whole life I have caught more fish and more variety with night crawlers. I may have 3 or 4 cut baits out but there is always at least 1 rod with worms. ;)

That’s what we call a stunted farm pond where there are too many bass and they are all 6-12 inches and the gills are nearly bigger than the bass at 6-9 inches
