Great conversation about trolling. I used to hate it but as I’ve gotten older and lazier I do more of it. It’s also a great way to explore a new lake and, like you said, it’s very effective. It’s about the only way I’ve had any success catching winter cutthroat trout on Vancouver Island. That would be a great episode by the way.

Fan question- what’s your thoughts on the pleasure boat operators license after all these years? In your experience has it helped much with the safety on our waters? Personally I still see lots of boaters who don’t seem to know the rules.
