Have you made the video on the simpler method you mentioned in the comments? Interested in the newer method

I've done a couple videos since then.. but really need to do a better instructional one.. the details that matter are very hard to show and explain.

Love your ideas and genius thinking. You definitely have a gift of ingenuity. Thanks for sharing and if you wanna sell a few of those please let me know or if you could use some extra braid let me know as I have some small spools left over from spooling reels. God bless.

I’m a subscriber and have enjoyed following you for several years. I was wondering if you ever sell any of your custom furled leaders. They look great!

No I don't sell them but can certainly spin one up for you...

How do you taper the leader are there nails or something at each one of those green makrs that you blend the leader together? How is that done?

pro trick: watch series at Flixzone. I've been using them for watching loads of movies lately.

there's an easier way that I use now... 2 simple loops of descending size.. I'll make a new video asap..

How did you get from 4 to 6 or from 6 to 4
@FishTales-Reel-Life-Adventure5 жыл бұрын
This video is hard to understand sorry about that... but with this rig I start with a single strand with a big loop that reaches about 3/4 the length of the leader. then I run that to the end and back up to the other hook on the jig. At this point I decide how many strands I want in the finished leader. I could just finish the leader with another loop about halfway down the total length and have a 4 to 2 taper or take the braid back to the end and put the loop on the same hook as the first loop giving the leader a 6 to 4 taper. I have a much simpler process now to build a leader that involves a single twisting jig and a much longer bench.
