I’ve got four of these and even use one as my daily carry. To the boomers out there, rimfire has come a long way. It’s definitely my favorite and I got my first one over ten years ago. I sorta want to get a black and yellow one to put in the DeWalt bag.

really well-done video, nicely delivered, informative, subscribed. my ruger sr22 is my travel piece. after ten years and 20,000 rounds i know it well and can certainly hit with it. recently i have gravitated exclusively to cci ammo; not the sr22’s fault.

I might have 2,000 rounds through mine!! I am glad to know I can count on it for many years to come as it does have a special place in my heart. Thank you for the kind words and welcome to the channel I hope you enjoy what is to come. CCI I would argue is the best all-around brand for rimfire ammo or at least the brand I've had the fewest issues with.

Thank you for the video. I just got my replacement back from RUGER. My first one shot well and i hope this one does as well. The slide chipped and would not lock back . 🎅

I have the SR22 3 and 1/2-in barrel and if you go to tandem cross they have some upgrades for it. You can get springs for your magazines. Just a little bit heavier and you can get a slide spring captured pen that makes it run quite a bit better. It's been a steel or copper. Then after that metal you got to check it out. It's not real expensive and there's nothing to change them. I think it was $9 for three springs for the magazine. I think it was $20.25 for the slight spring in the subway and they also have. Have you can turn it into a 15 round? Yeah I'd have to go online and I could explain it but you have to see it with tandem kross

Thanks for the vid. I'm considering this for a Tac/Trainer for my stable. I took a shot every time you said "iteration" though, and now I'm drunk and can't handle my other pistols. 😉

They did come out with a 16 round magazines conversion just slip off thr bottom pads on the mags take out all of the things inside install a new follower new spring then the slightly larger bottoms you loose the little round piece that pushes the follower down but loading isn't very hard 15 in the mag one in the pipe work great I think I think it's tañdom coss that make the upgrade definitely worth it these guns eat eveythìng.

I looked into the 16 round mags but I believe losing the follower also eliminated the SR22's ability for the slide to remain open on the last round of the 15 round mags added this feature back it would be wonderful!
@tizben Жыл бұрын
@@BuckcreekTV they should have made it 15 rounds to have enough space for the follower to allow last round hold open!

I've got three tandem cross magazine conversions. Min ee rarely work well fully loaded. 13 seems to be the lucky number.

I've had mine for about 10 years myself and shoot it regularly. I carry it daily for self-defense and for critters around my farm. My biggest beef with this pistol is if you have to take it completely apart for a thorough cleaning because it gets super dirty carrying it daily, its a bitch to put ot back together. Ill carry it cutting grass and doing chores and ive gotten dust and grass chunks in it. For this reason im looking at a different pistol thats a bit easier to completely disassemble. Probably the glock 22 cal

I've never bothered to disassemble mine.I simply use a toothbrush with a little oil to scrub the feed ramp, extractor. Don't buy another gun cause it strips down easier.....just get a toothbrush.

I've seen multiple pistols with the safety go up or down for release or activation. This one isnt unique in the direction of travel to turn the safety off.

"Itteration". You keep using that word! I do not think you know what it means! -Inigo Montoya
@BuckcreekTV Жыл бұрын
I believe it's spelled iteration. The term is generally used in computer science and can be defined as the repetition of a process in an algorithm that is done in a loop to generally improve it. While I'm not using this specific definition in this case, the connotation of the meaning is implied. In this case, the repetition of creating a new SR-22 in the hopes that it is improved upon from the previous version.
