Dude you have no idea. You are the only person in the world as far as I know that has created such a in depth video about this car. There are plenty more but not like yours. Please keep making videos. Would love to see a DC fast charging session from 0 to 80 or 10 to 80. Anyways. Please keep it up. Currently waiting for my Sport trim.

I want to echo this sentiment. Sincerely, thank you! This was the type of video I was expecting other One owners that had asserted an earlier online presence and took delivery way before you to do, but didn’t. This is the level of detail potential owners have been craving for as Fisker is just abysmal about putting out informative content to help people “see themselves” in the Ocean. I cancelled my Ultra confirmed order based on where things were at my last KDP around Labor Day, but I’m still an investor and want to see Fisker survive. Hopefully, they will and start making the Oceans in the US, all while overcoming some of these self-inflicted wounds and outdated/cheap hardware decisions (Intel Atom chip -> The Blade & onboard charger). At the end of your video, it looked like you were only averaging 6kW. Is that the average kW you’re seeing charging at home? I noticed two other owners posting about the same due to the onboard limitation before a little over a month ago.

32:53 According to another video, the 1st is a vehicle to grid (V2G) adapter. Though that feature is not available yet. 2nd is tire inflation goo. Should plug small holes.
@tomaszimmer7351 Жыл бұрын
@@gstead11 It’s an adapter that gives you V2L from the chargeport! If you like to charge another vehicle or what ever you like. 1 phase only, not shure about the load but guessing near 3000W. V2G or V2H will come later, but thats through a DC charger like the Wallbox Quasar 2. Love the video btw @adamninja 👍

That black canister is fix a flat. It goes with your compressor and the compressor should have a spot to slide that canister into. Kia gives those out instead of spare tires.

Appreciate the detials. Couple of Comments: 1. Map Update are available and you can update by reason etc. Click Map Settings in map 2. In AC control - Read Lock is not Trunk lock, its Lock to rear control (Limo mode) 3. Left mirror in reverse is possible if you select left mirror in driver side control, though it does not remember the settings 4. SOS is not functional in US 5. White thing in trunk is Vehicle to Load(V2L) adapter which you can plugin at charge port to get juice out of it when enabled later

Can you elaborate on the V2L adapter please?

V2L-vehicles to Load. Basically if you need power incase or emergency or shutdown etx, you can use electricity from car battery once enabled

Adam, thank you for making this video, it was really helpful. I’ve had my One for two weeks and I wish I would have watched this video before it arrived because there are a lot of features that were hard to figure out. I completely agree with you about the key fob, it is horrible. I often times have to run the key fob over the exterior door handle to get the car unlocked.

Super information. Congratulations on your new FOO. A couple of questions about the delivery process since it was dirty and your trailer hitch was not installed. What information on the condition of the car when they made you pay- did they know the trailer hitch was missing? I see there is an ADOT (Arizona) temporary TAG- Do you know who the Arizona Dealer was for that Tag (not sure how you can know but you did pay for it)? Did Fisker say they cleaned the car in the USA?
@adamninja Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment! I had to pay sight unseen. I would have left a dealership in this condition and told them to call me when it was clean/fixed. Yeah I think the AZ thing was when it was moved to Phoenix from Buena Park. Fisker won't say if they cleaned it or even respond to my messages about it. They would have just let me go forever with no hitch after paying for it if I didn't notice it while trying to add it to this video.
@adamninja Жыл бұрын
I should add, they definitely never cleaned it. It still has sticker residue on it from the original car covers. Including glue on the wheels

At the 32:55 mark those cannisters are something cool. The black one is just fix a flat slim in a can and the other one is used to pull power from the Ocean to power your home or whatever you can power. I have not seen it in person, but do a video on it. Take it out and show how it plugs in and such. The software will not support this feature yet.

Thanks & nice work Adam! Lots of great details seen for the first time. Question: what is the device in the bottom of the driver’s side A pillar? Is that a camera for driver / cabin monitoring? Also are you able to open the hood? I know there’s no frunk, so wondering if it opens for windshield washer fluid or other maintenance? Thanks again! Looking forward to future videos.
@adamninja Жыл бұрын
Thanks! That little black box thing is the driver monitor. It's basically a camera that detects when a driver is alert or distracted. Like head looking to the left when something is approaching, or staring down at a phone kind of thing.
@adamninja Жыл бұрын
Oh also, can't open the front without a special tool. But the windshield washer fluid is actually accessible from the outside

Awesome video! What about air conditioned seats? Also, does it seem like plastic interior or do you feel like a $70,000 interior?
@adamninja Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I really don't think the seats have AC. I couldn't find anything to turn them on, only the heat. So unless it's just a feature that's not turned on yet, it's sadly not there. I understand people's concerns over the quality of the interior. But at the same time I see the value in recycled plastics and appreciate what it stands for in addition to how it looks. It does not feel like the typical wood grained $70k interior, but I think it's justified here. The seat's faux leather and alcantara are well stitched and high quality too. I don't know how well these will wear out. I already see myself resting my elbow on the center compartment every time I drive. Hope it holds up!

What amp circuit do you have your wall box set to? Does it really take 8 hours to charge 50%? I have a one on order and 8 hours seems pretty excessive. My other BEV charges in around 4 to 5 hours / 50 amp circuit
@patrickdewyngaert9977 Жыл бұрын
It’s not the wall box. It’s the onboard charger. Fisker has confirmed (on Reddit) it limited that to 7.6 kW. It’s a hardware limit until they change the onboard charger.

Schade eigentlich. So darf ich doch keinen Fisker kaufen? Oder weiß jemand etwas anderes? Lasst es mich hören.
