I have a MYP, I saw one of these when I dropped my car to get the PPF done. I won’t bash either, competition is a good thing. I hope they can dial in the software at some point. The more cool EV’s that are available, the better for us. I get tired of seeing everyone driving the same car as me.

I own both Tesla and Fisker.. I enjoy Fisker much more. Fun to drive, better build, attention to detail and much better handling. I got a new OTA update as well. Seems like factory (magna) which builds Fisker builds this car with high standards. Afterall same factory builds Mercedes G-Wagon and BMW as well. You can tell this car is build by german standards as well.

I think that was a very fair assessment. Once they buckle down on the app and infotainment, it will become a more complete car. But a very beautiful car. It separates itself from the eggy teslas.

That’s not a bad start. I wished they worked out all the technology items prior to releasing. The only downfall is the charging infrastructure will let it down currently. Maybe they will adopt the nacs adapter as well.

Here is my reply to Marques for his lack of professionalism to give viewers a very biased review of Fisker Ocean SUV. Marques with his video named "the worst car I've ever tested" actually breached duty of a KZbin reviewer - unbiased and thorough reviews for viewers. As such, Marques's channel is no longer my trusted KZbin channel for unbiased information. I like Chris much more now for new information. Here is my reply to Marques. (3-5 mins of reading) Here we go ... "Bro. I am a Tesla Model X owner, my wife has Model 3, my coworkers has Model S and Model Y. Hey Tesla actually is very close to being the worst car not only tested, but actually out on the road. The rattle noise in all our Tesla cars are amazingly annoying. My wife's Model 3 long range has rain water coming into the trunk even after Tesla service center has previously installed a new rubber trim around trunk lid opening. Then, my coworkers Teslas, my wife's Tesla, my Tesla all have rattle noise. You know how Tesla save time in their manufacturing process by not using screws, but only to snap interior panels and try to secure the interior panels that way, then as the car bodies flex while travelling on uneven surface or making a turn, rattle noise start to remind you that you are driving a Tesla vehicle. Hey, my wife's Model 3 and my coworkers' Model Ys and Model 3s come only with one screen. The lack of a second "smaller" screen behind the steering wheel means drivers of Tesla cars have to do everything about their car function in one single screen. I was on I-5, trying to make a u-turn after getting to an offramp, once L-turn signals was engaged, the stupid small rear-view cam showed up and blocked the left upper portion of the screen. I tried to to other adjustments on the screen for my car feature, it was stupidly blocked by that particular L-turn rear-view cam which just popped up. Normally, I would have a second smaller screen on my Model X, which I find very useful. The Ocean SUV has that second smaller screen. Hey bro, you know the stupid Tesla glove box sometimes get stuck and would not electronically open. I have been back to the Tesla service center multiple times to resolve (rain leaking into trunk issue, left-rear mirror stops folding and unfolding, multiple rattle notise issues, panel gap issues, and my wife's Model 3 just start to have the famous ball joint issue for both Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, that the rear motor of my Model X died 4000 miles ago, and it needed to be replaced. Hey, you know Tesla make the worst car I, my wife and my coworkers have every driven as consumers. Hey bro. I know a lot of youtubers like you own Tesla stocks and you guys never disclose about it. Hey bro, I know that you realize Tesla is selling fewer cars than expected for 2024, so you KZbinrs are doing whatever you can to help Tesla sell more by downpaying or even bullying newcomers (including some KZbinrs are saying R2 of Rivian also have bad design problem, etc.) Hey bro, you know what? What you are doing today will surely come back and bite you harshly. Watch and learn. I have Tesla, my wife own Tesla, my coworkers own their Teslas, but Tesla make the worst cars out there. Also, good luck with getting the officially stated ranges for your Teslas. Remember this are words from real Tesla cars owners. Have I mentioned Tesla service sucks. you have made an appointment with the Tesla Service Center, and they suddenly move your appointment to a totally different day right on the day before your appointment. It is so frustrating both with Tesla products and Tesla service. The worst auto company in the world is Tesla. Don't even get me started on how fast the depreciation of Tesla cars have been. My coworkers' Plaid Model S was purchased at 133,000 USD, he tried to see what Tesla could give him if he trade it in for a Model X Plaid since he was expected a newborn. Tesla only gave him 69,000 USD after 1.5 years of ownership of his S Plaid. Tesla is so hilarious. And thanks to your seemingly biased reviews of EVs by new EV companies. You don't even know how to rotate the screen huh? Have you ever done your due diligence and learn the vehicle before you start your so-called "review"? Last time a non-Tesla owner had the review of a Tesla on KZbin, she could not figure out how to turn on the car when actually pressing the brake pedal would turn on the car, you know what happened? She was bullied by Tesla owners who watched her video. You are lucky that Fisker owners don't do the same here to you. Bro. how old are you? Can't figure out how to rotate a screen? Let me do this bullying for real Fisker owners as a Tesla owner."

At 8:47, I think if you want to use all the space inside the center console, you just have to leave the tray out in folded position. There should be no issue coz I caught you saying, " ... it does make your center console useless". You know how much I and my wife want this center console tray for our Teslas. Everytime we are on a road trip and supercharging our Teslas, watching movies, we eat snacks. However, the Tesla has nothing like this tray from Fisker. Wish Tesla designers are more thoughtful and have more options for their cars.

I wonder why some cool products made by Magna in Gratz, Austria are sometimes awkward and not fully embraced by drivers. Among EVs this one is nice but so is Jaguar iPace which never sold in considerable numbers. Maybe outsourcing software is the issue in both cases? Both are quirky enough to be not so common on the roads. Jaguar iPace is charging slowly on DC chargers. We will see how Fisker Ocean does that job. It looks like interior is more premium in Jaguar which has some off road prowess and can ford some water which is unusual for EVs. In both cases the owners will stand out from the grey mass of Teslas in North America.

Great video and neat features that Fisker has. Hopefully they can work on touching up things and work on their fit and finish with some of the looser things you pointed out. But for me personally, Tesla Model Y over this any day.

The main mark on it is that as much as Henrik pumped the short development time as allowing the newest tech, they went with this old, slow even on its release 9 years ago Atom, any Snapdragon for Auto let alone Ryzen like Tesla uses is vastly faster now. So there's only so much software can improve it alas, but the PEAR will have a high performance blade computer.

The frunk and glove box are open via the main display. The infotainment & app is constantly being updated and improving. The charging is CSS plug, but next year model is moving to NACS like every other EV. So opens up the best charging network Tesla has. I’ve only seen the AWD models listed $68-72k. For much less you can get Model Y. Still very cool design and good driving from what other reviews have said. Oh they have whole mobile service, which will come out to your place for most repairs & service. I guess regional centers as well in the works. 🤔

at 12:10, I love that idea of charging another EV with this Fisker just in case. Wish Tesla has this feature. Last time, my coworkers Tesla was down to 30 miles, I wish I could give him 20-30 miles to go home so that he did not have to brave the traffic and drive out of his way home to the supercharging location. Oh well, Tesla as we know it, cost-cutting first; not user experience first.

I think I will still stick with Tesla. There technology just works. I understand no company is perfect but Tesla has been at this the longest. They have the superchargers , great app , good customer service. I can appreciate the minimalism from Tesla as this is what I enjoy. I don't need buttens and going stalkless makes sense is futuristic and I'm cool with it. Yes I am a Tesla fan boy 😂😂. As soon as the Highland performance comes to Phoenix I'm getting it in Stealth Grey with dark interior !!! I can't wait the anticipation is killing me but it will be so worth it. I'm glad Tesla listens to their customers.

Mind blowing that they couldn't get their shit together for the software experience. EV's are really a technical showcase on both a technological, UI, and car craftsmanship level. I was really into this car until more people actually got their hands on it, and the software experience is a common issue. It's something you HAVE to be on top of if you're gonna be competing with the likes of tesla, lucid, kia, etc. BUT, there's a lot to like here. Just unacceptable for the software.

I have the FOO. It is horrible. Dead in my driveway for 9 days with no response from their CS. I have about 8 open cases (in 6 weeks) that have never even been responded to. The ADAS doesn't work at all most days. Technician says it is "buggy". You can't OTA fix poor design and cheap components. The roof doesn't actually add anything at the current time. I am sure an OTA update will "fix" that. Vents don't work. Rear window doesn't work. The key fob doesn't work. Really? How do you mess up a key fob. Oh, the the battery has a vampire drain of about 2% every night. I am sorry if you own the stock. I am in worse shape - I own the car.

This has much better fit and finish and there are charger options aside from the Tesla brand. Fisker has a speedometer in front of the driver where it belongs and they have a satellite radio option unlike ELONS dream.

Do you remember how terrible the software of Tesla looked when they launched ? OTA software should not be a defining factor for a ev vehicle anymore. I test drove the fisker ocean at a pop up in NJ and it drove way better then the model Y it's also a lot snappier a lot smoother down fall is the one peddle drive as for the charge network Fisker has already said they will adapt to nacs starting 2025.
