I love Fitbit I have a Alta HR I am disabled and I work out a lot and it keeps track of my sleep keeps track of my heart rate which I’m very proud it’s only 57 I work out a lot and it’s been very good for me I just received member of the mall month at my health club it’s great to keep track of my stats thank you Fitbit

it's 2023 and I dragged out my 10 year old Flex and it's working fine with the app. LOL! It's simple and it works! The band broke so I use a twist tie to to slide the band through. I actually had a pile of bands that I had bought but SOLD THEM when I stopped using the Fitbit...bad move! I had another that had died, so how long this last is a question. I had stopped using it because I got panicky about "signals" for some reason, LOL.....

I ALSO GOT A FLEX FOR CHRISTMAS, BUT I CAN'T GET THE WRISTBAND TO CLASP. EVEN MY HUSBAND CAN NOT DO IT. ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM?

My wife also found it difficult to clasp the band to her wrist. She went back and forth between the larger and smaller wrist band. She found them both hard to close properly. Also having sync issues. grrrrr!

dtowndano I brought it with my to my hairdresser, figuring a YOUNG person could help. Sure enough some showed me that it you just apply pressure on the metal clasp, pushing down it snaps in. Syncing was a problem Christmas Day, but the next day it was fine. Love it walked 16000 steps yesterday.

I bought this Fitbit Flex for my wife for Christmas. We got all the way through the set up until it came to syncing the device. With the dongle in the UBS drive, it didn't find our device. We tried going back to re-do the set up with no luck syncing the device. We even tried syncing from the iPhone app. Again, no luck. We also didn't find or read any instructions on how long we need to charge the device out of the box ? Another KZbin video indicated 2 hours. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

dtowndano Well you might actually have a defective unit maybe. It should sync fairly quick. Have you tried calling FitBit support? They are pretty good actually.

I changed my metrics. I switched my weight from punds to kg, and height from feet to cm. Then my information was acceppted.

I am not sure you can have multiple on one device, you might be able to with the computer but really you would have to look that up on the fitbit site.

Can't find the software on my pc after plugging in dongle. iphone not detecting tracker(bluetooth is on). Don't get this. Running out of exscuses why I have not set this thing up. Breaking my mothers heart, thanks fitbit!!! I'd rather gotten a tie for father's day.

Tstops180 - Your Fitbit Device needs to be close to the dongle if you are setting it up on your PC. I hope you figure it out soon.

What is the exact name of the ios iPad Mini app, or is there none?

Just type in fitibit and then on the top left side where it says "ipad only" tap it and select iPhone only. You can download the iPhone app to the iPad this way. FitBit doesn't have a dedicated iPad app.

Hmm, is your Bluetooth enabled, also try closing the app, rebooting the phone and if that fails try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it.

What are the pros and cons of FitBits?

There are tons. They help with fitness goals, reminders, motivation, fitness tracking and even sleep tracking. Cons would be that some models lack some features but the higher models have them so it’s not really a con. In general the FitBit is great for what it does.

I just got a replacement Flex. I want to set it up on my old account ... but I am unable to find 'account set-up'. What am I doing wrong? I put in the dongle to my laptop. I'm charging the tracker on the USB charger. But how do I get to 'account set-up' to log-in as an existing user? Earlier, when I went to 'setup & download' ... and began downloading ... the fitbit connect seemed to get hung up. I'm trying it again. But please feel free to give me a numbered, step by step instruction, if this doesn't work. Please & thank you.

Bluetooth is located on the first page of your settings app. Also, you can swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone screen to bring up the control center and access bluetooth.

Nathan W Yeah, I am using a Macbook too. The video is a bit low but I have no issues listening to it slightly above half way. Maybe the way youtube is pushing out the audio is a bit different.
