Great video, thank you. I take a lot of stairs just for getting around. I want to work out the lower body, but sometimes I can't do swuats because of my knees, so I either don't do them or wait until they're better. These will be good to do on days I can't do squats because of knee pain.

My physical therapist told me i have weak and tight quads. Quad stretching has helped tremendously!! I do them daily

Definitely going to try these today at the gym. I ended up having both knees total replacement due to bone on bone and causing such pain I could not walk very far.

Thanks Dr. A! Left knee is crunchy and I’m confident if I strengthen my legs the knee will improve. These exercises avoid the deep squat and extension pain! Appreciate the thorough demonstration.

You're very welcome Mike! Here is another exercise that may help you a lot (Lateral step down): kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmaneWytmKypgtk Use a very small box/step... and gradually build up the height as you get stronger. Make sure your hips stay level. I would also suggest you try this exercise barefoot as you can really feel the muscles in your feet activate & contact the ground... which will help your leg muscles activate and stabilize your knee & hip joints. 👍

I hurt my knees from overtraining distance running. Haven’t been able to do squats since. I found this workout really helpful, particularly the partial split squats and the dumbbell deadlift. Definitely incorporating these into my rotation

Very helpful, for knees , tendinitis in elbows.... pushing or pulling for work out , lighter weight, more reps ,for biceps, an triceps, curling is tough !

Modifying just about any workout with a weight vest is a great way to mix things up and pump up the intensity/core activation without altering the rest of your movements. So glad I found this! Climbing out stairs is hard because I have knee pain. I actually use the banister and pull my self up the stairs.

I trying to find a exercise for my injured knee, I have bone on bone, and been doing sitting exercises for since last year. Question I have stretch out bands, bands for your knees and the long ones. for my weight, I only have ankle weights. for the cow bell you were using.

I've been hoping to find some kind of leg workout. I'm bone on bone, meniscus tear and baker's cyst. Complete knee replacement in November. Need to drop 30 pounds and strengthen my legs and hips before surgery. Split squats hurt too much but can do the others ok. Thank you!!

Hello Dr. Balduzzi, This video will help me a lot. I have some meniscus problems the doctors say but they mostly feel that "an operation" would help. I don't want that though. So I have been taking it easy and being careful not to strain my knees in any way. I found your video today and I practised some of the exercises as you did them, to see which ones work for me. I can do three of the exercises and if I forget how to do them, I can always watch your video again. Thank you I am very pleased. I miss Fitness so much!! I don't really subcribe to anything, but I will today. I had no pain whatsoever doing your the three exercises. Very nice!

Recovering from hip replacement. In physical therapy but having trouble bending from waist keeping core tight. Trying to build back glutes and leg muscles that are weak. U have so helped me see how to protect my knees that I was starting to have problem with in hip exercises. I never had knee pain before doing exercise for glutes. Thank you for this video. I'm older and small framed and glutes weak cause back pain in doing most hip replacement therapy. These helped. I'll try getting stronger.

Excellent video!! I am 44 years old and I have a slight knee pain on left leg that just started from nowhere so I have stopped intense workouts to focus on healing my knee so this will come in handy

Even though I am only 24 my knees are pretty bad through no fault of my own. I used to dread leg day but now i love it. Thank you for this video, it's a godsend!

I am only 32 and have osteoarthritis in my knees already. Working out can be hard because I just cant do some of the moves in a lot of the videos i watch. Thank you for this!!!
