Whether it's a quick match or a three-set marathon, there is no better feeling than knowing you can outlast your opponent on the tennis court. Use these few simple drills to build stamina and confidence. You don't even need a tennis court for several of these exercises -- no excuses!
Blair DiSesa Henley is a USPTA Certified (P1) tennis professional with over ten years of teaching experience. She is also a writer for Tennis Now.

Great fitness drills. However, I have a question? Is running useful for tennis fitness or thses in court fitness exercise is enough? Please share your view on running exercise? Thanks.

do you have any suggestion for specific resistance training exercises or aerobic exercises?
@TennisNowTV
@TennisNowTV 9 жыл бұрын
Mike Sanders Resistance bands are great for warming up the upper body. I've also had great success with thick rubber bands that you can put around your ankles while side-stepping. It will make you sore, for sure! For tennis, I wouldn't recommend a ton of aerobic exercises. Interval training is most helpful to build your endurance and explosiveness on the court.

Make things simpler. You addee up and mixed up too many too things together which forgots almost everything and it seems wasted 8 min at the end. Disliked it for that reason.
