Listening to this really brings home the realization that finding a provider that actually understands nutrition and the body is paramount. Maybe I took this the wrong way but I didn’t get that Ice was bagging on the providers - the MDs and such- but more of an observation on the fact that the profession as a whole has sort of turned into this “here take a pill for that” and let’s never figure out what the heck is actually causing you issues. Where as docs 60/70 years ago would have been trying to find a root cause and utilize apothecaries and other remedies to assist. I mean what’s the point of doing all that cool research on food and its medicinal properties if it isn’t going to be used by doctors as medicine? If prunes can assist with keeping healthy bone density why not try that? Anyway, I haven’t even finished yet but I’m glad I stumbled across this! Thank you!
