Hi, it depends on the circumstances that you use the vehicle but for us yes, we love the BMW m57 engine, it’s one of our most popular installations

Merry Christmas all. Christmas movie well, had Italian job on this afternoon normal channels. Anyway the 110 he has stuck with standard arm and ball joint, I know a lot of people change to the track rod end type model. I had a few years changing the build up type prior to MOT but the last 3 / 4 years it has passed with the build up one. Have changed garage also but the last one on I fitted still feels tight, might have just dropped lucky. Has he kept this standard as a weak link in the system when toughening the rest, to save the steering box?

I am looking at doing a M57 swap Nissan patrol. My goals are 300hp while still maintaining the best possible down low torque and fuel economy. Which is the best motor for that, the single turbo or the compound turbo?

Look up diesel pump uk they did patrol with om606

​​@@rickyperks3895 yeah the om606 is a good option but in Australia you cant go backwards in emissions standards if you do an engine swap. Also you may notice one of my goals is fuel economy haha and that is just something you can not get from an om606.

M57n2 I believe come with 272 bhp so a mild tune will get you up to 300bhp without stressing the motor. That coupled with a nice size Intercooler will have you sorted.
