Fitting a Sunglasses Holder in a Discovery 3 & 4 for £15

The Discovery 3 & 4 don’t have a decent sunglasses holder that’s easy to access while driving. Here’s how to fit one that looks OEM and only costs about £15.

Is it completely necessary to replace the original tabs? Since the focus tabs are taller, i wonder if those would leave more space for the larger sunglasses to fit.

I thought the same but when fitted into the headliner they don’t sit quite right. Would have been nicer if it had worked that way. I can tell you though that 7 months on it still works well
