Good job my friend, recovering seats used to be a pain, you made it look easy but I guess the kit looks very well made, it looks pukka on the bike and in my opinion looks better with the seat cowl on than it did with the original seat and cowl.

You didn't mention how is the new seat on longer journeys. I feel fine on stock for shorter rides or when I am often off my ass in the twistiest. But after +3 hours sitting down it becomes quite sore.

It’s slightly better but tbh there is not much padding on the standard seat. I would say it looks better with the volcano cover but don’t think the gel pad really makes much difference hence my new air cushion seat pad purchase for my august tour into europe

@@MOTOUK1 went back and forth on what I wanted to do with the seat and I've ordered one of these it shouldn't take long to get to me and I'm really looking forward to it. I ordered less gel than you and now I'm thinking I should have got more for the odd pillion day but they are far and few between.

Hi nick great video as usual looking forward to seeing how your new seat works out. for me the seat is my only problem with my mt 10 when I go on tour we usually do 250-350 miles a day and my backside is recked so hopefully this seat could be the answer

Great video. Ive got the comfort seat. Great improvement on the standard, but looks like what it is....So question, could you have gone twice as deep and doubled up the gel layer? Do you think there'd be any gain in comfort?
