To anyone who wants some stripes on there mini a car wrap company would probs charge about 30 - 40. Pound. But the way the video shows is probs the best home way to do it

Personally not convinced there's much difference between the OEM and Minisport decals. I know vinyl comes in various thicknesses but in the end it's just a bit of vinyl - looking good!

Huge hello and thanks from Alberta Canada. We’re the stripes, pin stripes and laurels in old English white?? Just in the process of finding some decals for my 98 almond green cooper and so far can only find o.e.w bonnet stripes from sticky fingers. Any other suggestions?? Thanks

Sorry, I don't actually recall where I got them from. Sticky fingers will do them in any color you want if you drop him an e-mail.

"Washing up liquid" .. differences in terminology between the UK and USA.. I assume this equates to a soap for washing dishes, etc.. such a simple application that can go wrong. Before watching this, I would have tried this dry.... was there a reason you took the bonnet lip off.. ? you're awesome.

Boot stripes were never standard on any classic mini. If you see one with boot stripes they were fitted after production.

What measurements do you want? They sit about 3mm from the edge of the bonnet.

I done it myself LOL, if you look back at Sprout pt.72 (Windscreen) I missed a big bit at the back LOL. My wife didn't tell me, I only noticed by watching the video LMFAO

I had got used to it without stripes but when you see the whole car from different angles they soon grow on you
