Looking good buddy. I have no idea if the splitter should be enlarged or not; perhaps you need an episode on how they work and test the effect of different size??? The dam does make it look chunky and a larger splitter might improve aesthetics if having minimal aero effect. Over to you...

Really enjoyed that bud, I am going to fit these arches and roll/cut the inside. Only issue is my arches and wing join at the lip so it's going to be a bit more work. As for the splitter, it will probably be fine if you don't mind loads of air going under the car and possibly taking off 180 vertical flip style! But then also a cheeky little cosmetic slide into the tyres will get viewssssssss, subs and shares so...😂😂😂

I love the splitter on the front and the fender flares but are they universal fender flares do you purchase those types cuz I have a Cabrio a golf Mark 4 and I want to put with lighter tires

Thanks for the video... Will be fitting arches to my car next week so it comes in handy 😅 Looking at your front brake rotors... Aren't they switched left and right?! Judging by how the vent holes on them curve... 🤔

Just went and had a look back through, the front rotors are definitely on the correct side as per the AP diagrams for how a curved vane rotor should be.

Just an idea but you could fab a small splitter extension from 2-3mm thick ally, if you slotted the holes in it then where you attach it to the underneath of the old splitter it could be adjustable to give you varing degrees of downforce, just adjust it as and when you've done a lap or 2??

@@TeamPrawnRacing Yeah it could end up being a worm decapitation device but if you get the desired result you could maybe have a play with carbon sheet and mould one? Then it could just be added to the original as an extension? Possibly mould some gurnies into it? Anyway just some ideas for you, love the car and the channel and if i pull my finger out may catch you at a track somewhere, goodluck 👍

Yes, lots of cutting at the front. Cutting and lots of welding on the rear. it's also not reversible once you've done it.

Hi bud just wandering if you were near me in Cheltenham and would do my arches like urs on my mk1 seat leon 1.8t? If so how much would you charge? I got 9.5j 3sdm 0.06 with 20mm spacers to clear coilovers but tyres stick out too much so need this arch setup, would look so cool like ur audi. Let me know man

Alright nick, long time, glad to see its up and running again, hope baby prawn is doing good. you should have put some nail polish on the holes before the rivnut to protect it from rusting. what happened to those mirrors i sent you btw, i cant remember, anyways, keep it up, your making me want to get the old a3 back upto standard, its been neglected for a few years.
