As a teen , I was suggested to use pads from sofy or whisper but I never feel comfortable in those itchy plastics after discovering some alternative options I chose to try menstrual cup but as a mentality my mom didn't approve it but still I manage to order it . @@tsss13 Hi nandini , it's not painful at all as our vagina is made up of stretchy tissues . One have to relax and breathe normally while inserting it. It's been 9 months for me , at first I was also skeptical about it but it's not like that . Watch some videos about inserting the cup , and find your comfortable position while inserting and removing it . Btw I'm 18 and cup is really convenient and eco friendly . Once you insert it you'll not feel anything , but make you insert it properly otherwise leak can be a problem but you can put panty liners to be Sure .✨

@@tsss13 actually I tried for 1 whole year to convince my mom for switching to menstrual cup , but after all the tries she didn't approve the way I think at last I gave up and asked myself if I want to change I will , if I'm uncomfortable. With pads then I won't suffer myself . So I gave it a shot with my own savings I bought my first menstrual cup from sanfe and I'm still using it . I can't even thought of going back to pads dude they are terribly annoying . Try giving your mom some advantages of the cup and trY to break the norm about virginity as this only a myth that Virginity exists and if still she didnt approve and convinced . Then just try to order it yourself as you Should be comfortable No one else will share the itchiness with you.

I have been using cup since three years and I really love it as it is so comfortable plus it is economical and environmental friendly. In my case, the best part is, it has reduced my cramps to a large extent (don't know the reason but I have felt the difference) and I have been suggesting women around me to try it atleast once to see it's benefits and in fact two have started using it and they also love it.

I have started using cloth pads after knowing about them through this video. It's been nearly a year and I have no problems or complaints with them. If any one are hesitating to switch to cloth pads thinking that they may cause problems please don't think so the only thing is you just want to spend some time in washing them. Well, what's happening now is complete opposite, rather few(not all) women push men to understand period or else men would be labelled as non liberal or any sort of thing women feel they don't conform to. Women nowadays flaunt this and JUDGE men upon the parameter of "liberalism" yep. Many women think they're "brave", while some think they're having some really bad life being women. I've seen many women portraying this menstru thing as burden and they feel tired of being women. I used to use cotton cloth earlier and now am back with it again. 😀🙏🏽🙏🏽 With pads, I was causing more harm to the environment, as I wud use 2 pads a day, newspaper to wrap it n then polythene to gather it separately. Menstrual cups are the best 😍 I've used for my last cycle and literally I forgot about my period 😅 I left my cup whole nyt and there is no leak and I can't even feel the cup.. I have been using a menstrual cup for over 8 months and it's the best period product that I have used till date. There are a number of videos on youtube on how to use it. It takes a while to get used to it, but once you do, there's no looking back. Choose the size of the cup as per your age and the duration to empty the cup will also depend on your flow which may be different for every day or every period. Also, even if the instructions ask to boil or sterilize the cup everytime, it's actually not suggested since by property of the material, silicon hardens with time. So just sterilize before first use and every cycle you may just wash it with warm water. Also after every period I prefer to sun dry it before I pack it back inside the cloth bag. About brands, I have tried sirona, sanfe and Peesafe and found peesafe material to be best till now. Every menstruater must definitely give it a try...happy period 😀

Cloth pad and using cloth is same...then why people said its old fashioned,now we have variety of disinfectants for washing those cloths...and hot water is also use ful,sun drying is also effective,when i have heavy flow i use cloths which are made of cotton...and applying coconut oil on genital can prevent from any bacterial strain,menstrual cup is not for mi its pain full too for my body type...pads are not good for environment ...
